  1. Hi, I need a new PSU for the system below: CPU: Ryzen 1600 GPU: GTX 1060 6GB RAM: 2x8 16gb 3200mhz RAM MOBO: Asrock AB350M pro4 4 fans and some RBG strips Buying in the UK and have a budget below £60, please. It's been a while since I've been in the tech loop, so I have no idea what's considered good budget options and with there being so many options in the PSU tier list it's hard to pick. I'm not looking to overclock and use the system primarily for light gaming and browsing, so I believe 500w will be more than sufficient, I was also planning on potentially moving my RTX 2060 into the system. Thanks for the advice.
  2. Ah I appreciate the suggestion but its a little pricey, I think I'm gonna get a powered PWM fan hub and hope it works.
  3. Just bought 2x NF-P14s fans for the front of my pc, I currently have them running off a splitter thats connected to a molex, so they're both running at max rpm which I don't want. I have 1 other free fan slot on my motherboard, can I use a PWM fan splitter, to have them both run off of the one port on my motherboard? and have them run at the same rpm as each other or is that not possible? Link to the splitter I was thinking of getting, but im not sure if it'd work as one of the splitters is 3 pin: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-AK-CBFA04-15-Splitter-Cable-Fans/dp/B005FWXWPS/ref=sr_1_16?keywords=pwm+fan+splitter&qid=1652366908&sprefix=pwm+fan+%2Caps%2C123&sr=8-16
  4. I'm not super familiar with lga 1151 motherboards, so I wouldn't be able to, but there's a ton of reviews and guides out there that can send you in the right direction. As for a case, go with whatever one you like the look of, and it looks as if it should have good airflow.
  5. It looks like it'll be quite difficult to change your case based off the image of your motherboard, it seems that the front panel is soldered directly to the motherboard and the rear io shield may not be removable. As a result if you want to change your case which I highly recommend as it looks like there's only one rear exhaust fan, you're gonna have to get a new motherboard that supports your CPU. If you do decide to, find yourself a motherboard with a LGA 1151 socket (so something like a Z370 or Z390 motherboard.) Otherwise I don't really see a good way of using your current motherboard in a new case that would be pratical and wouldn't require you to cut stuff up.
  6. Those temps sound pretty good. You should expect your temps to be quite high when running an intensive program like cinebench R20 for some time.
  7. AKG K712's maybe? But they don't have a inline volume controller. They've got a detachable cable. They're lighter at 235g. They've got a really good soundstage which is great for gaming. I dont personally think they have a "gaming aesthetic."
  8. I can get the 11600k with a MSI Z490 pro, or the Ryzen 5600x with the MSI B550-A for pretty much the same price, and I'm unsure which one to choose between

  10. If they're soldered to the PCB, you're going to have to de-solder them individually and re-solder some red switches.
  11. What are you going to be using the PC for?
  12. You need to make sure your motherboard's bios is updated to the point where it'll be compatible with the Ryzen 5 3600. The motherboard should support the GPU as well. https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A320M/index.asp#BIOS
  13. What's your budget, and what country are you buying from?
  14. Did you do a clean driver install using DDU?
  15. Get yourself either a new RX570 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/LBhmP6/gigabyte-radeon-rx-570-4-gb-gaming-video-card-gv-rx570gaming-4gd-rev20) or a used one for cheaper.
  16. You've stated your budget above is $530, according to the PCPP, It'll cost you $493. Which does fit in your budget. Otherwise go for a set of 16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHZ instead of the 3600 mhz RAM Get a Asrock B450 motherboard instead (although I'm not 100% certain that'll the MOBO is compatible out of the box, check the manufactures website to be sure.)
  17. Watch some reviews, and make your decision based of those. I recommend taking a look at https://www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-mice for potentially other options.

  19. Ahh okay, have you bough the 2600 already?
  20. There's no point going for a AIO with a 2600, put the money towards a better graphics card. Whats the PC primarily going to be used for? Gaming? Productivity?
  21. What do you mostly do with your pc? For gaming go for the 3600 For productivity go for the 2700x
  22. I'f you notice more performance in games and applications suddenly, then probably.
  23. If you're unhappy with purchasing the wind force GPU, cancel it and purchase the other one. The gaming OC will probably be more cooler, since it has a larger heat sink. It has a higher boost clock which is good If you're planning on overclocking. Go for the gaming OC if you plan on overclocking a bit, otherwise it doesn't matter much.
