I would go with 1070 over 980 ti for multiple reasons. More Vram, less power, less heat, more OC headroom, newer technologies, and Dx 12. GTX 980Ti: 1455MHz GTX 1070: 2050MHz

My i5-6500 is fine, its able to handle everything I do. I just need a gpu with more then 2gbs of vram and faster clock speeds.

Lol, my build now I just need a new gpu my gtx 950 is struggling to play games at 60 fps while trying to keep the graphics on high, I just find the 2gbs of vram not enough.
