  1. Dear friends, I have an issue with my build and i'm quite sure that here will be at least one person that will be able to help me. In my machine i install recently the second graphics card. The first one is GTX1080Ti and the new one is Quadro P5000. What i'm trying to do is to have them together to calculate a GPU rendering together in 3D Software (3DSMax2017 + V-Ray 3.60.03) For some reason no matter what i'm trying (3D, PhotoShop, AfterEffect, Gaming) only the 1080 gets all the load. From what a developer from V-Ray team (ChaousGroup) told me is that it is possible and will be no issue because the GPU architecture is the same of the bought cards. The 3D program is found the two GPUs and it it set to run them together... but the Quadro is still gets 0% load. Is there someone that can help me to fix this issue or to tell me how can i synthetically test the two cards or any way that can lead me out of this issue. thank you in advanced for anyone that is willing to help!
  2. Dear Friends, I was lucky enough to win Quadro P5000 graphic card in one 3D competition. Yeyyy ... Good job to me. Now I'm facing an issue, how to run my "old 1080Ti" with the P5000 together. I know that their GPSs has the same architecture and they can be run together. Currently i'm adding the new video card to the system and I install the Nvidia latest drivers for 10 series. After I installed the 1080Ti drivers, the two graphic cards was visible in the System information (in NVIDIA Control Panel). My next step was to install the Quadro drivers on top of the 1080's one. One of my displays go black and the computer did not registered the 1080. Obviously this was not a good idea. I'm switching back to the 1080 video drivers. My main question is: How can I use them bought for different tasks or to force them to make computing together (For example rendering an image)? For example, Can I mark my Quadro to be used during PhotoShop work, but to use 1080Ti during gaming or RT rendering? or to tell the Quadro to run the view port of the 3D software while the 1080 is rendering the Real Time preview? Thank you for your support. I'm quite sure that here is at least one person that understand the matter perfectly an will be able to show me the way in this interesting adventure. To that one and all the rest... Thank you in advanced!
  3. Ok Thank you for your quick reply. Do you have any proposal idea for the company and class?

  5. I have to ask a question that didn't receive any answer. Currently I'm with 750W PSU and I have x1 SSD and x2/3 HDD + 1 Strix 1080Ti. Do you guys thing that i need to upgrade the PSU to higher watts? 850W, 1000W probably?
  6. The greatest plus of the Strix is that if you did not load it, the Fans did not work. I have 1080Ti and 960Ti Strix and they bought look just like new. The Fan did not work 80% of the time and there is no dust, not amortization and no problems. I need to add that my system is quite as vacuum. After years of use the card will look and feel (even smell) like new and you will easily sell it for higher price. Team StriX for the win
  7. Thank you @Crunchy Dragon for this quick reply. My main goal is to load them with GPU rendering. Do i need something specific, from hardware point of view, to run them together, or just to plug them in and hope that the system will do the rest? How to manage the Drivers. To install the bought one or ?
  8. Dear Friends, I would like to start saying that this actually is my first post in to the forum so Hi to everyone! I was looking from quite some time in to the web for information, that I'm abut to ask you for, but I can not find it anywhere. Hope you guys can help me. I have the great opportunity to have in my hand bought ASUS 1080 Ti ( as my own graphic card) and Quadro P5000 (which i luckily win yesterday in a contest) . Some guys told me that they have the same chip architecture so I can run them together in my rig to deal with heavy tasks like GPU rendering using V-Ray. With that in mind I have three questions to start with: - Is it possible to run bought P5000 and 1080 Ti in one system and to complete tasks together ? - I'm with MotherBoard << ASUS Rampage IV Black >> Is it going to support it ? - I have Cooler Master GX750W PSU. Is it going to be enough to run the bought of them (1080Ti is 250W and P5000 is 180W) Hope that you guys can help me because the next step is to plug them bought and try... not sure what will be the result. Kind regards and great day you to all! Stoyan D.
