  1. I was wondering I recently got a outside protective cover for my 5g modem and is this good signal to the tower. From about 1am to 10:30 am i get 225mbit + down 80up during day 180-130 due to load times. Avg ping to servers closest major city is 13-19ms. Jitter 4-5ms Morning Aft-Evening
  2. Ah I see I've been using 5g for a bit. Some occasion's it does hit me with low mbit speeds but it always stays above 130mbit down and 80up But I avg 260down 85up. Australia is known for its good mobile service. I get internet in middle of the bush most of the time it's slow but it run about 350kbit a sec over 10km and in dense bush. Our wired internet is a different story though :S people keep forgetting Australia has 31mil in a place as big as the lower 48 states of the US with barely same population.
  3. Ah by any chance is my Wi-Fi antenna's correct up right and 1 to 1 to each other at 90c
  4. What would the optimal Wi-Fi antennas positions be here's a mock up of my place. I have 2 antennas of Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160mhz Modem: Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway 3 it has 5 Wi-Fi/4G and 5G antenna receivers so it dose not matter the Wi-Fi angel with the modem. Is this best to have then vertical?
  5. I recently had to get 5g internet since my house cant get local HFC and the FTTN (Fiber to the node) is to slow and mornings to night I get decent 250/400down and 40/75up using 5ghz Wi-Fi 6E 250/475 Down 50/70Up On ethernet. The Signal strength. 5G Signal Connected RSRP -71 dBm Sometimes -69 or -72 SNR 35 dB RSRQ -13 dB 4G Signal RSRP -87 dBm SNR -4 dB RSRQ -20 dB RSSI Is this good?
  6. Ok update my i7 11700k CPU hits 90c under 100% load at 250wat 4.8ghz. I disabled AVX and wondering is 4.7 better since that only used 230wats and just about hits mid 80s but it hits 90c under 100% at 4.8ghz 250wats Pic 4.7 or 4.8 since 4.8 hits this under a full 100% load besides AVX 512. Idle temps mid 30's And should I set the PL1 and PL2 to manual 250wats not Auto. My CPU cooler can handle 265wats it has dual 120mm at 1700rpm with 5 other 120mm fans at 1300rpm case. 4.7ghz Temps and watts! So 4.7 to 4.8ghz I am gaming at 1080p so 4.7ghz for more stability. Since lower temps reduce stutters and might lose a frame but eh I tend to play slower pace games so that smoothness is for me.
  7. I wanna wait to push this CPU since core 3 seems the hottest and Iv done 3 remounts and think its the Dye that is the issue. Iv done this so far! Thinking the AI should be little lower while I keep PL1 and PL2 as it is 125 PL1 and 250 PL2 they seemed at 220AI Watts stayed mid 70's and stuck about 4.1 to 4.6 under Small FFT into it dropped to 3.6 but small FFT hits the CPU REALLY hard and gaming rarely goes under 4.55ghz since I play RUST a lot and its a CPU demanding game. Its likes more cores then core speed I have noticed my friend has a 6 core at 5.1ghz and I get better fps at 4.6ghz and 8 cores. I will try 125 PL1 250 Pl2 and 230AI for stability. I will come back in a few hours with results.
  8. Hello I recently got a deal for a 11700k and a msi Z590 board and wonder since the CPU hits 5ghz but only in very light loads gaming it seems 4.6ghz is the best. How would I reduce the CPU temps but keep a stable 4.6ghz since I mostly play games 1080p not 4k and since this was cheaper then say 11400f and a new board I got this for when I can get a good water cooler. And hes I have tried setting things to 4.6ghz all core and lower the pl1 125 and pl2 from 285 to 250 with a 220A and 125Wat PL1 during small FFT it hit low 70s and stayed at 3.2-3.4ghz when disable turbo boost - c-states - and speed shift. Specs Intel i7 - 11700k 3.4/4.6/5.0ghz Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler Dual 120mm at 1500rpm 265 Max TDP MSI Z590 Pro Wifi Nvidia RTX3060ti 8GB 1920x1080 100hz 32GB DDr4 3200mhz Corsair Dominator Ram 512GB Samsung NVME SSD 700wat Thermal Take 80+ Gold I wanna try and get a stable 4.6ghz for now since games I am playing are more core count then cores. Stock bios Settings - Sorry I suffered from nerve damage so image little shakey/blury. Whats better?? ------------------ Small update: I set Pl1 to 125 PL2 to 250 and the other 220A and hits 175wats and high 60's at 4.6ghz allcore fixed (Turbo and Turbo 3.0 + Cstates + Intel Speed Shift EIST all disabled)
  9. MSI z590 pro wifi I set it to 4.5ghz and 125wat tdp pl1 since I go above 4.5 it draws 180wats and hits 100c but 125 stays under 70c and I had a 10400f 6 core. I can wait into I get better air cooler since hyper 212 is 125 tdp not 225 wat. 4.5 at 120 wat tdp pl1. 70 max after 1 hour prime95
  10. I got it today as writing this. I got 11700k and using a Hyper 212 cooler 120mm fan and was hitting 100c during turbo but I used intel XTU and set the CPU to x50 and limited short and turbo power limit to 125wats and someone cpu maxes at 80-81c under stress test. Did i do it correctly?
  11. I am wondering what's a decent price for a used 10400f ATM 65$ au and a 16gb Kingston hyper fury beast 35$ au
  12. same family just one is low profile and from the specs there both the same. Just ones fury ones beast others renegade.
  13. I have Kingston Fury Renegade KF432C16RBK2/16 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 KF432C16RBK2/16 But there cheaper ones that have rgb is is that ok to grab instead since there's a sale on. Kingston Fury Renegade RGB KF432C16RBAK2/16 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 KF432C16RBAK2/16 Same speed and timings just RGB
