It's a pretty tight fit. 

Here's where I would like to mount it.  I got some cheaper meters to compare and they have surface mounted wires instead of the through hole wiring that the more expensive ones have.  Through holes tend to be far more durable, so that's what I'm going for.

Instead of the blue one that I have, I think that I'm going to get yellow. 

The yellow one that I have in person is more of an orangeish amber, and that's good to stand out on the blue due to how complementary colors work.
