    That is literally my biggest question from that entire animation. 

    I can't find anything that's more concerning, nope, not a single thing.

      @Skanky Sylveon That's odd. The color of an Inkling's mouth will change color based on the current color of ink (e.g. yellow if they're shooting yellow ink), and when they are splatted (killed) or dissolve in water, they leave behind ink in their color. It's only blue if they're shooting blue ink.

      @Schnoz I don't think that splatoon is the most biologically accurate of games.

      I can't find a good picture of squid blood, but horseshoe crabs are largely the same color. 

      Their blood has natural antibiotic properties and are commonly milked for their blood.  It's quite valuable actually. 

       

      @ARikozuM might know a bit more then me about this.
