It's almost like I know what I'm doing.

I need to make a threaded mount for the arm, and a slide mount for the carbon filter.  But this test frame came out quite nicely. 

 

Also, tagging @Windows7ge because he seems interested in my DIY shenanigans.

    The only filament I have is PLA. For most of what I make though high strength isn't really necessary.

    @Windows7ge PLA is perfectly fine for non functional parts, or for parts where rigidity and hardness are top priority.  But for mounting a fan on a microphone arm I want something with a bit more flex.
