So, I have a slightly defective NZXT Kraken, and I decided to put it in the freezer.

Why?  Because a rep from NZXT stated that the liquid would likely freeze at 32f (0c) but every AIO radiator spill that I have seen has green liquid in it, and antifreeze is typically green.

So far, it has been in the freezer for ~6 hours, and it still hasn't frozen yet.

I mean... how woul they ship the cooler in winter if it would freeze at 0*C? Just logic.

Well, I guess an update is in store.

The tubes are still just as flexible, and I see no signs of splitting.

Although antifreeze doesn't expand when frozen, that property is unique to water.

There's no way that I could know if it's frozen in there for sure unless I hack the tubes open, which I intend to do.

@Jurrunio I'm not trying to prove anyone wrong.

Corsair themselves state that they use a distilled water and Propylene Glycol mixture.

It's very possible that NZXT uses something different though.

As far as I know, nobody has done a real life test though, probably because there is a real possibility of ruining one's RAD.
