Also I'm no expert but my first instinct would have been to induce vomiting to get out as much as possible before then drinking lots of water to replace the lost fluids and dilute what's left.

Clearly... I mean, it's designed to be undrinkable due to adding bitterants and stuff, then there's the bottle that says "rubbing alcohol", etc.

I put the rubbing alcohol in the cup to soak an electronic component that a cat peed on.

@CUDA_Cores Despite my strong feelings to the contrary I won't question the poison control centre's suggestion since one would hope they know best, but I do know for a fact that no, it's not the same to your body as a strong alcoholic drink.  There are many different compounds, some similar to ethanol and some not, some poisonous and some not.  I mean, there's a reason it has a poison control label on it in the first place.

but that's ethanol, which is actually safe to consume (in moderation), as opposed to literally poison

@Ryan_Vickers Poison control didn't say that it was essentially strong drinking alcohol, they said that I might get intoxicated.

They actually said that rubbing alcohol is much harder on your liver, and that there is an increase of internal bleeding and neurological damage with rubbing alcohol.

But they said that with the amount that I drank, it would be unlikely to see those effects, especially if I drank lots of water.

once when i was thirsty after cycling for hours i run to the fridge, grabbed one plastic bottle and started drinking...

my mom came in the room and told me it was zivania (its a very very alcoholic drink)...

why place it in a water bottle?
