I dont like to buy used... mainly because i want this to hold up at least through uni...

I dont care too much about resolution since i have my main pc at home that can play AAA games. my main concern is if it will last long and not get slow because i never had a laptop before. But i usually format my pc and phone so i think it will hold up ... do you agree?

Hey people, i was looking for a laptop to use during university/college that can be capable of ligth casual gaming (emulators, csgo, rocket league , fifa19 etc...) at low-med graphics for under 500€ with an ssd and 8gb of ram. And in my country this seems impossible ... but i think i've found the solution... what do you think about ryzen mobile ? I've been told it overheats and its kinda problematic... but i found this at a discount

hey forum ! I have a Sapphire nitro Rx480 4gb for a year now and i've been mining the last couple months. i quit mining and now play some games casually and i noticed my gpu is getting higher temps than before i was mining. i wanna know if removing the heatsink and apply some new thermal paste will void my gpu warranty. thanks !

i've looked at the samsung and the hp side by side today and they where AMAZING ..compared to my 1440x900 TN i have home lol i meant if IPS hurts LESS then TN SORRY * cause mine (TN) makes my eyes hurt sometimes

hey guys, i'm really debating with myself lately about 3 monitors.... 2 of them are IPS an one of them is TN. all of them are 1080p and 24 inch screens. i'm going to name them by prefference in the "looks" department lol HP 24ES (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Value-24-inch-Displays/7274745/document/c05272270/) -best looks -no freesync -IPS -4ms GTG response time -160€ (on discount currently and ends 25th of july) ACER KG1 (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.UX1AA.001) -TN -75 Hz Freesync -1ms tesponse time -146€ Samsung LS24F35 (cant find the specs page lol) -IPS -5ms response time -60Hz Freesync -160€ i really love the hp because of its looks but it has no freesync... so i think its between the acer and samsung , they look about the same so its about the TN and IPS ... which one do you think is better ? i really dont know cause of the color quality between TN and IPS. Note:i would like to learn some more editing videos and photos . i also game casually and sometimes i spend long periods of time doing papers for university or studying . does IPS hurt the eyes less?

it all went well but i think i shouldnt have deleted those since they were the laptops recovery partitions and now it doenst let me install win10 .... should i transplant the laptop hdd to my pc again and try to install win 10 here and then put it back to the laptop and see if it boots ? i tried booting from usb in the bios with a 64 bit version of win 10 but idk if the laptop cpu is 32 bit or 64 bit ... it came with win 8 ... will this matter ?

@Tabs its only a 500gb disk and yes i have concerns about data retention since its to give to another person and to do a better "cleaning" job i chose to full format it ,

@Tabs sould i do that only when it finishes to format the biggest partition right ?

hey guys i'm trying to format an hdd for my cousin's laptop since it was stuck on windows repair mode and the reset allways failed. So i plugged it in my PC and noticed it had some partitions i cant delete and it just says "help" ? wat can i do ? i'm currently formating the biggest partition but i would like to delete and merge all the other ones

oh and once i got a mosquito in my ear and had to go to a doctor remove it lol he also clean my ear, but the was is was kept the mosquito from going deeper in my ear. that's why we have wax there... goo see the doctor and ask some questions about ear wax ^^

yep go see a doctor to clean it professionaly . after that you can ask him how to do that . sometimes they reccomend kind of spray that dissolves the wax and poors down your ear

thx guys but i gave up as nothing worked... tried various clone and recovery programs and none found the files i was looking for or the clones would fail... i formmated it as my friend said he could get back most or all of the important files

Yes i did .. i'm trying to clone it today , yesterday i was sick of it and gave up ... its cloning now... I'll do that after i clone ... but you can check the pictures i posted in the original post. Windows says it has occuppied 300gb but only 21gb shows up .. the rest is the "missing" files
