Hey guys, I have an SSD with windows 7 installed. I want to move the SSD to my MacBook and install OS X on it. I’m not sure how to do this (I frequently use Mac OS X and Windows 7 but I was never good at partitions and disk formatting and stuff) I’m not interested in any data on the SSD currently and I have an install CD for my MacBook. Can I have some help please? Thanks

HELP upgrading noob

Don't reformat right away, try using your old install a bit on your new PC, if it works then keep it, but if it doesnt, then reinstall. Just about a month ago I had a windows 10 hard drive that I moved from a Phenom II x4 940 machine to a Core 2 Quad Q8200 machine, and all the appropriate drivers loaded and everything was fine. I've also had some others that weren't so successful, the only way to know for sure is to try it, windows 10 tends to be good at finding drivers (windows 7 can be a bit of a nightmare, but I prefer 7, I think it's worth it) -
Should I build a ryzen build or intel?

OH I'm ok with that I have an install DVD for it, but I'm interested in what the reason is, could it have something to do with that my install disc for windows is pirated?

Hi, can someone help me with my PC? I haven't been able to play games in a while, I'm on edge, it just crashes Like a minute after I turn it on please help i can give other info and stuff too i just really want to game and plugging my 1050ti into my secondary PC gives a huge bottleneck it's not fun the only game I can play is half life 2 or GTA San Andreas or GTA IV at 12fps oh there's also a red light on the motherboard that maybe isn't supposed to be there

Ok, thanks, but see I used a bootleg copy of windows 7, and it was "pre-activated" but then one day it just started to tell me my copy of windows wasn't activated, so I can't update, I guess maybe windows recovery mode would bring away the non-genuine thing maybe, and also I only get about 30 seconds before it crashes and restarts, so I cant really open any programs to find an error code

Ok, so, I've got an i3 4150, 16gb ddr3, an asus z87-a and a GTX 1050ti. it BSODs me when I log in to windows and it has crashed a few times before, but reseating the ram fixes that for some reason. i tried reseating the ram, even replacing it with different ram and only using certain slots, but now, that doesn't seemto help

YEp that's a pretty giant bottleneck i know a guy who bought into the six core hype and now he has an fx 6300 and a GTX 1060, and I've seen his pc, it's and a 580 is closer to a GTX 1070, and I'd say, honestly if you were planning on Buying a whole new pc but then your car broke, I'd suggest getting a new CPU and motherboard with the money you do have left
