I recently bought a Chromebook for light duty work since my gaming laptop is a bit bulky and while I was shopping I noticed some like the Acer models advertise dual channel memory while others only like the ones with amd A6 have single channel out of pure curiosity I wanted to know what I have as Samsung does not state on website its the Samsung Chromebook 4 is there a tool or a way to find this info CPU Z does not say

Overclocked my 10700k 5.0ghz no avx offset no load line calibration at 1.3v and it shut froze at 99c with avx and shut off a couple seconds later i dropped voltage and I ran my 10700k for 30minutes of prime 95 with AVX at 95c for 30 mins at 1.27V bios would that cause thermal degradation i dont wanna further damage the chip so i think im done with stability testing. Chip runs at 64c in games

New to overclocking googled a quick guide trying to get 5.0Ghz all core on my 10700k I have a Z490 MSi MPG gaming edge mobo i set the multiplier to 50x static all core and set the voltage to 1.30v no changes to load line calibration i did a blender BMW 27 test and a CPU z 16 thread stress test for like 20-30mins am i done i mostly use this pc for gameig and web that's bout it. I hit install windows instead of upgrade selected the drive pushed continue and thats about it

Can i move it to the c drive or should i try to install from scratch

Thats exacty what happened i had to put my Comcast router in bridged mode whatever that is and it disabled all wifi functions and extra Ethernet ports have a new router on the way that they will reimburse me for it but it has to connect threw the ciso thing kinda pissed because I dont want it to affect my latency and bandwith also probobly have to run my PIA vpn all the time now to keep my stuff private

wifi in my hp pavillion 15 gaming is having a bunch of issues reset the whole laptop did all the fixes I found online still have latency and disconnect issues. I did it seems to not be a very good design unlatched it far as it could go even disassembled the entire pc to make sure it was all the way off

So A while back my RTX 2070 got stuck in my Asus b450 mobo i managed to get it out but the pcie slot got scraped i have no idea how this happened im selling the mobo with the understanding that the top pcie is no good but i also just found out the bottom pcie 16x slot actually runs at pcie 2.0 4x threw the chipset not 3.0 8x so now i bought an r5 240 gpu for to test the top slot to see if it works if it works u think there is any long term risk to the buyer or should i just throw the mobo away attached a photo of the part that got scraped

I went ahead and checked it and it makes even less sense the crucial one is 16-18-18-38 and the trident z is 16-19-19-39 i dont think its b die because most ebay posts that say b die inside are cl15 or 14. Im most likely going to get the cheaper one since there seems to literally be no reason to get the more expensive one

Why is so cheap compared to the trident Z NEO varient both are 3600Mhz CL16 what would be the reason to not go with crucial ballistix. At $100 trident z version is at CL18

Was looking at GPU comparisons and User benchmark said a 3700x would bottleneck a 2070S is it just me or does that seem off i have a 2070 non S and the CPU never gets close to maxed on games like BF5 and MW
