  1. Do RX480s have better scaling with overclocking? What do you mean exactly?
  2. Now the question is, what is a worthy upgrade to my GTX 780?
  3. I'd say turn on developer options which is accessed through the about device and tapping the build number around 7 times. You can speed up animations by making them draw twice as fast, which gives some more snappiness.
  4. This is quite interesting to see massive hate for flash. Anyone want to inform a less-informed person in small chunks on what's so bad about flash? Thanks!

    ASUS PB278Q

Ah, I'm on a more up to date PC, so I assume it's not a problem anymore. Just cautious, haha. But the PB278Q isn't worth investing in?

    ASUS PB278Q

On my older PC, i5 750 @ 3.9ghz 16GB DDR3 1520MHZ (Bottleneck because front-side bus and other limitations of the CPU not being unlocked) It caused a lot of issues on Windows 10 such as the clock being wrong because Windows 8 - present switched to a virtual system clock than a RTC, and since my CPU didn't have an unlocked multiplier and other shenanigans, it caused malfunctions in applications that use the Unreal Engine like Smite and Blade and Soul, which caused the game to stutter real badly or give you speedhacks, and they both had automation against this and I was permabanned with terrible support team who didn't want to publicly say that their game engine had a huge exploit like this. Following that, games like Rocket League and Heroes of the Storm suffered like a 20 frame dip compared to 7. After that fiasco, I'm afraid of going back to 10 when it literally got me banned from pursuing e-sports on SMITE and I'm more than disappointed as a 5+ year old customer with Hi-Rez, following them since the Global Agenda days.

Ah, that makes sense. My specs are i5 6600k @ 4.2ghz 16GB DDR4 @ 3000mhz (I believe?) GTX 780 Well, I've been stuck at 1080p since like 2009. I also started working and I just feel like having a second monitor or the ability to have two windows open side by side would help! I'm looking for an IPS display, I'm a "casual gamer" that plays games like Hearthstone, light Overwatch, and mostly Garry's Mod as I'm an administrator for a few servers and I'm part of Wikia staff. I'm still using Windows 7, would that help or ruin the case for a 4K monitor?

Hey there, Looking in the market for a new monitor. I've bee using a Dell 2312HM for about 5 years now, it's a matte IPS screen, and I just got my first paycheck (I get paid monthly). I was wondering if the Asus PB278Q is a decent option for 1440p. Anyone have experience with this monitor?
  9. Because for a few hours more or for a few bucks more, the competition on Intel's side has stronger single-core performance. Don't get me wrong, I used to recommend the FX6300, but with games like Rust and other massive map/world games that require the draw distance to be heavily rendered, the single core performance of the AMD chips are just lackluster. For the record my old i5 750 is comparable to the FX 6300, possibly still stronger.
  10. My fascinations for this vintage technology is the reason why it's my name.
  11. PQ 52 is one of the easiest PQs. It may sound threatening to fight against 3 Great Apes. But if you maxed out basic attacks to at least 50-100, you'll be taking our half their HP bar by grabbing their tails. It's basically free money by doing nothing. Still can't get the Bardock suit though I made 8 characters, both male and female. I have a level 80 saiyan that was kind of made to be balanced, but now I'm just experimenting on my Frieza race character that had Basic Attack Maxed first before health and strike supers, hahaha.
  12. You can try doing PQ 51 if you have that as well. These are unlocked via getting the Time Chasm Shards and doing the extra story mode (Bardock/Broly Saga). Perhaps i'm just bad! I'm actually experimenting around right now with basic attack/strike super/health build and see where that ends up going. Have you played a match against any hackers? I played against Great Ape Bardock in the World Tournament Stage during a ranked match and I was literally so confused.
  13. Dragonball Xenoverse is an okay game. I'm in love with the franchise, but this game has some iffy points especially when it comes to just Saiyans and PvP. Super Saiyan/ASSJ(Super Vegeta?)/SSJ2/Super Vegeta 2 (Majin Vegeta?) is overly broken because of the fact that you can just spam any attack with 0 Ki Drain. Pair this up with Kakarot!!/I'm neither Kami nor Piccolo/Protect Elder Guru with any broken Ultimate attack will make anyone's day cry. Death Ball has almost 0 cooldown per shot and will lock your character in the air before getting hit by another Death Ball, thus repeating. 100 x Big Bang Kamehameha arguably does the most damage in the game. Perfect Kamehameha is literally bigger than a Super Kamehameha. So the game needs major balancing and it seems that the other races were literally an afterthought because Saiyans are not fun to play against in pvp. It's actually refreshing to fight someone who wants to fight not using Ultimate or SSJ spam - a true duel between who is the better fighter using only your skills and knowledge of the game.
  14. That 2nd screenshot makes Five Nights at Freddy's look like a superior game. Was this really on High? Yikes, I think I'll stick with playing Batman Arkham City or Arkham Asylum.
