I'm not that big of an audiophile but I am very particular in the headsets that I choose. These are like 300 bucks each. I have had a Steel Series Arctic Pro Wireless and an Astro A50 Gen 4 in the last 5 years. The Arctic Pro Wireless was my favorite of the two since I could connect my phone, PC, and TV, at once and take and receive calls with it on. The sound quality was also awesome I mostly listened over an optical cable though since that's how it runs from my TV. There are reviews that it is quiet but you just have to remove the limiter in the software that is it. Its fully wireless aswell. There is another cheaper version of it called the Arctic 7 or something. The Astros were great and have really good quality. I had to change my router WIFI frequency though because it interfered with the wireless of the headset. The astros are my daily driver right now and the only problem I have now is that the build quality for the band at the top is horrendous.

If you are gaming that long every day on a laptop you should definitely get something to place it on. The $20 option from amazon should be good enough.

If you know it will run particularly hot the best bet is to keep it on a flat hard surface. I use my laptop strictly on a table or piece of thick cardboard in my bed. It is an amd system so when I game it can heat up quickly and take off like a fucking apache helicopter. I've never noticed it get hot enough to hurt anything though. Except for my eardrums. Unless you are going to do something intensive on it 24/7 just replacing thermal paste / pads and taking general good care of it should be fine imo.

From my experience when you are replacing monitors or moving the PC around it can act funky. In several of the labs at my job if you wake the projector and login to windows at the same time it can change the display output to only display on the screen and forget about the projector. (a reboot while the projector is on usually fixes it) With your case I had a particular run in with it at my house. It wouldn't display windows if I booted the pc after unplugging display and changing it over to an HDMI display (a TV). I have no idea why that would happen. What I usually do now is that if I move my pc anywhere I boot it up first. Then I plug in peripherals. (monitor keyboard etc) If you have anything that is a PS2 connection you'll have to reboot it for them to work however. My assumption is that when you change monitors it has to swap display drivers (to what makes the tv / monitor act right) and if you turn off the pc and reboot with something new its like wait hold up who are you.

I was the same way I bought a tv and got bored of watching netflix after a year. Now I play Minecraft in 4k and run a server with my friends. I also play runescape on the side.

That is quite literally what my personal first pc looked like. For a long time, I shared a pc with my brother. I hate sharing.- 30 replies

Ok so recently i purchased a TCL 55p605 which is a budget 4k TV. I REALLY happy with ym purchase BUT I soon realized that the hdmi 2.0 ports were HDMI HDCP 2.2 ports so as far as i could find any information on the matter 2.0 will not communicate with HDCP 2.2 because it is copy protection. So my problem is i have a Twisted veins HDMI cable that supports HDMI 2.0 but when i plug it from my 970 to my TV i get green lines when trying to set it to 60hz. Would this be a cable problem or is it the fact that it is from a HDMI 2.0 to a HDMI HDCP 2.2? I can't find any information on this and i'd love to hear some opinions from people who own these components. I'm trying to get some info before i go and refund this cable and spend another 30 bucks for a 10 ft HDMI 2.0 cable.

I believe this may be a front panel connector issue like they weren't plugged in at the right spots. https://gyazo.com/08e5a3e387c6511756ae059598d0a6ed This should help you your front panel connectors should be labeled. https://gyazo.com/d8f66a71bf1dea31a0836d491a9977c4 Just make sure your front panel usb 2.0 connector isnt in the front panel connector. I think that is the problem let me know if it works! The two connectors looks similar but are most definitely different.

If you aren't afraid to look like a complete goof in public the Audio Technica AUD ATHAD500X or Audio Technica ATH-AD900X are great choices. I always recommend either audio technica or bose both are great headphone companies. Bose doesn't have any open backed though. But a great product nonetheless.
