  1. It is sad I bought EVGA motherboard and Graphics for over a decade, never had an issue. Now forced to buy from other brands, so far 3 RMA's come back EVGA!!!
  2. There is room in the UI for a thin Ad while not playing video, if that helps generate revenue for non-plex pass customers. That would at least translate more into plex pass and generate revenue from people who are happy with the free App. Being a Plex user from the beta at the start, there was a heap of growth and what set Plex apart from XBMC it did the media playback better and metadata indexing. Plex has added feature after feature on but instead of tackling how we can do video streaming better and related to the core reason people are using Plex they have lost their way. In trying to do Music Streaming running a split app for that on several platforms. then going into camera roll and arcade games. Bugs that are still unresolved in Sync got rolled into Downloads which across the board is inconsistent in experience some platforms it falls randomly for no reason. Watching video is a key reason people are using Plex but because of all the side projects these problems are left unresolved. I hope with this removal of staff is also a rethink of getting Plex back to its core values of what the program is and focus hard on making it the best platform to watch video on anywhere on anything. I am still personally running Server version 1.25.9.5721 because Samsung TV's don't work externally connecting to the server after updating past this version.
  3. I have considered buying an X3D CPU and replacing the 7700X to see if it stops happening. It's really hard to know what is causing it.
  4. I found a fix for that one a while ago with the Sleep problem you switch this off in power options so the graphics card doesn't have its power cut so bad that the system crashes.
  5. SPD says CL32 memory tab has CL50 which one is it using ?
  6. Running on Manual now with DDR5-6000 set and everything set to auto. seems to be working for now. till it wont boot again in the next days or week.
  7. So i went to try AMD again after over a decade of avoiding it after my last time was a complete disaster. Pre ordered a 7700X with ASUS X670E Tuf Gaming Board, Gskill 6000Mhz Memory at CL30 since all the reviews for the processor had 6000Mhz memory. Ran into the odd boot stability issue tried EXPO 2, EXPO 1 and then it worked fine for 2 months did the BIOS updates as they came out, one day it wouldn't post. Cleared CMOS still wouldn't post, RMA motherboard waited 2 months they couldn't fix it got a refund. Bought a ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-E Board, Bought 6000Mhz Gskill CL32 memory that was on the QVL. Bought a new PSU Platinum was mentioned that could be it. Replaced my GPU. Turned it on and met with a memory management error in a windows blue screen with EXPO 2, changed to EXPO 1, it booted once, second reboot had it cycle through post codes and be met with a safe mode bios screen. At this point, I've changed everything out except the CPU. Is it just bad-quality CPUs? I've managed to get it somewhat stable it will work for a few days or a week no issue then one day just doesn't post and wont post for every reboot till I change something to do with memory in the bios. after a few reboots it starts working again at 6000Mhz. It could be ASUS junky bios not sure, there is all this AI crap in it you can't seem to turn off. God knows what is changing without my knowledge in the background every boot. I am hoping someone with an ASUS board has run into something similar and found what rubbish to switch off to stop it from happening. ASUS support completely unhelpful with the suggestion of RMA the motherboard as a fix to the issue which will do absolutely nothing.
  8. I would say take a look at a non asus board. i have my mobo in for rma memory boot issues. After many bios upgrades asus still struggling now x3d issues. Seems other brands are not having this issue. if I could switch I would.
  9. Major post issues on the the ASUS AM5 Motherboards where memory training loops cause the system to hard lock and not post. The only option is RMA if it gets really stuck. waiting for a replacement board, changed memory as well still does it. seems to be isolated to ASUS Boards from online forums. I guess the ASUS problems keep coming..
  10. I have had nothing but issues with this same motherboard even tried bios upgrades it didn't post reliability at all. Sometimes needs a clear CMOS to post sometimes it just needs a good 20 minutes to boot. They called it the right name, its TUF to game on a system that won't post. After spending $300 on another Ram kit it still won't post, so now looking at RMA the board. Seems common though i wish Asus would accept they have issues here.
  11. Been looking around for a while a case to fit my 18 Hard Drives and decided the Meshify 2XL would fit them. Shocked to discover after finally order one hearing its EOL. Anyone know an alternative to these Fractal cases?
  12. i have mine with eco mode off and PBO -30 thats all i changed and light load is mid to low 30C. But i am using a waterblock, guess its pulling a lot of heat away i did also use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme since it was recommended by a few people with these processors.
  13. mine also games at 42C with PBO -30 runs like a dream. idles doing web browsing at around 34C
  14. I decided to go with a 7700X and i knew there might be some memory issues so i played it safe getting only two sticks and EXPO Certiifed memory at 6000Mhz. Seems that ASUS have some problems with their motherboards a lot of reports online of being stuck at posting. Once you get into safe mode and boot its fine till you shutdown again. Weirdly it was fine the first month i had the board it booted every time. I tried turning on Memory Context Restore which doesn't seem to stay on in the latest bios update that did seem to fix it for the most part. Anyone else have settings to change or to run on to stop the crazy behavior? ASUS have been pretty useless with support. I have tried EXPO 1 and EXPO 2 doesn't seem to make any difference. Runs fine at the frequency when its booted and no memory errors with tests. I tried leaving it do the memory training, left it for 3 hours was still doing the training.
