    According to an article by The Verge, Microsoft is adding Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, and Fedora to the Windows store.  The apps will run as virtual machines and allegedly have all the features of a full installation of the OS.

    Ideal you would want as many cores as possible but until recently anything above a 6 core is just way too overpriced. Now that ryzen has come out the two cpus that are really good for these types of tasks are the r7 1700 and the r5 1600. If you can afford the 1700 it is definitely worth it for your use case but if you can't afford it the 1600 is still a great option.

    You want more cores for video rendering but usually the gpu is what is going to reduce the render time by alot.
