I need help in choosing between those two. My main use will be school, and programing in my free time. Both devices are appealing and I'm having a hard time deciding. I'm going to carry this laptop in a backpack for most of the day, have access to a charging station at least once a day(around midday). Both are around the same price. Zenbook specs: I5-8250u 8RAM 256 SSD Intel uhd graphics 620 14" 1.4kg 3cells Thinkpad specs: I7-8550u 8RAM (can be upgraded up to 32) 256 SSD 1TB SATA 5400RPM HDD AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB 1.75kg 45wh battery Notes: -The Thinkpad has USB type C gen 2 and Ethernet port (zenbook doesn't) -Thinkpad is silver (if anyone has bad experiences with that colour I would love to know) -Keyboard quality is very very important to me (have mechanical keyboard on my desktop) If there is anything else that could help just ask in the comments and I'll do my best.

im a programming student who enjoys casual games in his free time and im currently in need of help of finding a laptop. my budget is around 1200usd. Specs: -i5/i7 gen 8 -14/15 inch -1920x1080 -2 in 1 is an option -preferably an ultrabook a few options ive seen so far are the zenbook, yoga or thinkpad. im more then open for recommendations

I'm from Israel, under 2.5kg and would say around 6-7 hours of light use (when I have programing lessons I usually have access to outlets)

As I've already stated I'm looking for a laptop under 1.2k$. I'm gonna use it for programing and writing mainly so graphic card is not a concern for me. Here are the main specs I care about: 14 or 15.6 inch. 8th gen i7 or i5. SSD 256 or more. The recommendations I got are e580/480 from the Thinkpad series but I'm not too sure about them. I'm looking for a GPU under 250-300$ for my PC (looking to use most of the money so I'm not looking for budget under 200) I don't have the knowledge to chose by myself and help would be welcome!
