  1. Basically the title. The most direct example of this I can think of is when I'm playing a game, for example, League of Legends. I have certain abilities on my mouse buttons, and seemingly at random, pressing mouse button 5 will tab out of the game. How might I figure out how to solve this problem? I can't remember the name of the application, and I can't find it after trying to look it up, but there's a Windows application that shows you a log of all the previous processes on the computer, such as automatic updates and whatnot. If someone could remind me of the name of that application, it would help me to give more information on the problem.
  2. It seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you to everyone who responded!
  3. I have reinstalled it. I will update this with what I find. Also, as a complete sidenote, now rgb fusion is detecting my ram, and I can control the coloring, but it won't let me set it to its default (wave). At the same time, the G. Skill software has just randomly started detecting my ram and I can now control it from there. Weird.
  4. Upon trying to reinstall RGB Fusion, it said it needed to install something and then when it tried, it failed. Should I still try installing it?
  5. I believe this https://www.gigabyte.com/MicroSite/512/download.html to be the latest version. I will install it and see what happens.
  6. I let a game run for a while after uninstalling RGB Fusion, and the problem (seems to) have gone away. Now that we've found the issue, how might I fix this? I've uninstalled RGB Fusion in the past, but it just installs itself again at the next boot up, so it'd be nice to fix this issue with RGB Fusion still installed.
  7. I edited the topic to clear this up. It's not alt tabbing, but the window is being minimized/put into the background.
  8. I thought I was just giving some context, but I see now how my phrasing could be confusing. Ill try uninstalling the software for a bit and seeing how it goes. And it's been happening with games I've been using a controller for as well, so it can't be that.
  9. This is an issue I've had since building my new computer. Seemingly at random, any game that I might be playing will tab out, which is rather frustrating when it can cost your team an entire game, for example. Occasionally I see a glimpse of some window opening up for a split second, but never for long enough to actually see what it might be. I don't know exactly what is causing it to happen, but every time it does happen, the lighting of my hardware goes out for a bit and then turns back on. Considering the fact that I've been having some issues with the RGB Fusion software anyway (my Trident Z ram is stuck as only being the color orange, and I can't get them to change back to default) I wouldn't be surprised if that software were causing the issues, but that's only a guess. How could I identify the problem and then fix it? EDIT: I misspoke slightly. When I say that it's tabbing out, I don't mean that it's going to a new window or that it is un-selecting the application. The window is minimized or put into the background, but on the toolbar it still says that it is the currently selected application. Hope that clears some things up. EDIT 2: After uninstalling the RGB Fusion software, the problem seems to have gone away (I will remove this edit if that proves false) So, Gigabyte RGB Fusion is somehow tabbing out my applications. How might I fix this?
  10. I'll make sure to be weary of that. My current gpu is the Aorus Rtx 2080 xtreme which is heavy as all hell and as far as I'm aware the card doesn't sag, so I assume there wont be too much of an issue, but I'll make sure to monitor it.
  11. I'm considering configuring my current PC build into a water cooled one with the Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Xtreme WATERFORCE WB. I would like to be able to make this GPU vertically mounted within my case, however. My case is a Lian-Li PC o11 Dynamic and my current graphics card is mounted vertically with a Cooler Master vertical GPU kit. I have built a few PCs but I have never done anything relating to a custom water loop. As a beginner and with my case and vertical GPU kit, is this something that I can viably do? 12. On mobile, so sorry for bad formatting. I’m also not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. I recently finished setting up a gaming computer. For the graphics card, I have an Aorus RTX 2080 extreme, and the case is the Lian-li PC o11 Dynamic. I vertically mounted the graphics card, and because I don’t want the gpu to sag, I’m keen to put the included anti-sag gpu stand inside the case. The problem is that because the Lian-li case has fans on the top and bottom instead of front and back, I can’t set up the gpu stand normally because the bottom fans are in the way. What would be a good way to put this stand in my case? The easiest solution would be to remove one fan from the bottom, but I’d like to avoid that. If the stand isn’t going to work, is there something else I can do to avoid sag?
  13. Since this post hasn't gotten much traction, I think I will go with the standard aorus RTX card cooled with fans, since the case fans just narrowly fit with the vertical gpu mount, and I think the extra height added by the radiator will cause it to not fit. Thank you to those who read this post, and if anyone would like to add their input before sometime tomorrow when I order, I would highly appreciate.
  14. It doesn't look like it's out yet, and it looks way out of my price range. Am i to assume you are recommending a water force card, however?
  15. Alright, thank you I will order one of these RTX cards instead. Thank you to everyone who read
