  1. Hoping to find some experts on the matter... Basically i got this 4-7 years old Lenovo thinkpad e450 laptop with windows 8.1 on it, tried to backup some files that were saved on it and then reset it to factory settings. While messing around with it i noticed that even while the charger was connected for some moments the laptop wouldnt recognize the charger, thus no power was delivered. I shrugged it off since it happened only twice and just for couple minutes... later on i noticed that it happened again but this time more than just a couple of minutes passed and no power input was detected. Ive tried going to the device manager window and then deleting the battery devices under the "Batteries" section, the laptop's display went brighter (as it does when its connected to power) and thought thats probably it... restarted the laptop, again doesnt charge and again im deleting the battery from the devices manager. After a while the laptop turned off and i couldnt power it on anymore. Ive read about it and found out that this problem was quite common on windows 8 (also other versions) but couldnt find a defenetive answear. Does anybody know what to do at this kind of state? Thanks for your time...
  2. Hi, my current mmotherboard is the Asus Prime X370-PRO and since i didnt quite understand how much fans i can use in my build ( cpu fans and case fans ) i pass this question to this forum, basically how much fans i can use with my motherboard?
  3. I was afraid so.... well thank you, ill see what i can do about it.
  4. [ Check profile for system specs ] So..... ever since i tried running some "specs demanding" games ( Nier: auotomata, Rainbow six siege, Middle earth: shadow of mordor, and in some events high setting Fortnite ) my computer seemed to run into difficulties, the graphic aspect of the game would ( mind my french ) fuck up, Stuff like the game's enviorment changing colors, weird rays of light which are bright as the sun or just weird graphic distortions. After a while like this the game will usually crash. In some cases the distortions would apear in the game for a while longer before the game crashes. Since the errors and distortions were graphical I assumed it had to do something with my graphics card and so i tried to figure out how to fix it. One of the things i found out is that my GPU never acceded 25% fan speed ( monitored the fan speed through Aida64 ) so natrually I thought that with only 25% fan speed the heat couldnt be controled so i used MSI Afterburner to change the fan speed and see what would happen ( couldnt change the fan speed whatsoever in the AMD Radeon software )..... the result with even 95% fan speed didnt change much, the distortions or crashes would simply apear a bit later than when they apeard in the past. As for what im doing now in order to play: I keep the case open, make sure the GPU is on 95% fan speed and lower the settings on each game to preety much the lowest and even then it still crashes at some point, i just restart the game in frustration hoping it will run for at least an hour or so. Ive also ran some tests, spesifically strees tests with Aida64 to messure tempetures ( ill attach them below ) and the tempeture really didnt look that bad. Back to the point I need help, I want to understand whats wrong. Is the problem actually the graphics card? could my graphics card be deffected? or could it be something else, i dont know too much when it comes to computer tech so here I am asking this community for help. Just for clarifying my GPU drivers are up to date and when Ive ran my tests the mother board bios were updated as well. [ The 10 minutes tests I ran ]: 50% GPU fan speed: 50% GPU fan speed + cranked up the CPU fan speed a bit:
  5. I basically have problem with choosing between the Corsair 270r and the Cooler Master MasterBox5 (the black version). I would like to know what do you people think, who are probably more knowledgeable than me. Generally which would be the better case, pros and cons and mainly how is the airflow dealt with.
  6. I am basically a newbie, new for this forums but i thought i will try it out. I wanted to know if my power supply is enough for my system, is this a good amount of wattage for my system? Will it be enough even if will upgrade for a GTX 1070 in the future? and if you have thoughts about this power suplly i would like to hear them.
