  1. OK after much research and doubt this is final form of my pc - once am4 bracket for my cooler arrives I am starting to order. still considering 1600x vs 1600 and if vega won´t come out till then i will buy 1080. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/j3qKQV so please rate my setup can similar setup be done for less?
  2. @cowpker4life thank you for answers It feels like with ryzen OC situation is backwards, X versions are for those who won´t OC, and other for those who will. So i altered my build to this i am still overbudget but maybe with some used parts i will squeeze by and i hope that I´ll win in silicon lotery and my 1600 will be stable at least at 4,0GHz What do you guys think about this? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/JQTb6X i would really like to buy asus Crosshair but its reallly expensive here. Also my hope is tha vega will be as powerfull as 1080 with pricepoint of 1070 - miracles can happen:-D Also if i go with this https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zPKknn build in CZ and even if i opt for 1600X and i won´t OC i can squeeze 1080 for same prize my latest build. but still will this mobo cooperate with G skill 3200 cl14 memory with latest bios of course? what is your opinions for this possibilities? What is your recomendation for ram ? i really like trident Z, can i get 3200gz with lowewel lathe box?ence from t
  3. @cowpker4life thank you for your list, won´t be going for 4x4 ram kit, 2x8GB will be my choice. 1600x is my favourite it has nice clocspeeds, but 1600 is still in play in case i have to reduce price for GPU or i find out it can´t reach any higher clockspeeds than 4,1. Like i was saying I still don´t know if you can squeeze more performance from X version than 4,1GHz which 1600 can do if you win silicon lotery. Crosshair mobo is really expensive, and don´t want to go over budget. but you really didn´t answer any of my questions from my last post.
  4. Hello again i am finalizing my build, i not even sure anymore that I will wait for VEGA to release. few things happened /prices spiked ect./ and i needed to lower my aim to keep budget i originally set for.i and because there isn´t much difference between i5 and Ryzen 5 1600x i created this build https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zPKknn now i don´t have any experience with AsRock and i am looking for someone who has some experience building with this mobo or at least have experience with brand my biggest concern is COMPATIBILITY and performance How often Asrock release Bios updates for Ryzen? how OC and RAM is affected on their boards. Is BIOS form AsRock any worse/better than lets say Asus? RAM: retailers state that MOBO can only handle 2666 MHz Asrock states that 3200oc is possible /not to mention issues with selecting ram that will deliver 3200MHz on any board with latest BIOS OC: how OC on this board? its 3+3 power phases so will i be able to reach more that 4,1 which it can CPU do on its own? Wattercooling: will the CPU fan header on board be sufficient for H100i? other boards have dedicated header for pumps. PSU: will be 650W be enough? i think so but still I am not certain. I have alternative which is over my budget /pricier MOBO and case/ but i now from reviews that it can manage ram and OC https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4hwT7h PLEASE can anyone answer or advise?
  5. Than you guys for your posts. Some of your posts basically shows what is happening in my head for few weeks now. I am glad that that i have same dilemmas as average builder :-D I will definitely check you suggested builds. And about 1080Ti I can´t really squeeze that card into my builds - its prize is half of my budget here. In US part picker i was able to add 1080Ti to my build and keep the prizepoint, in czech rep. i had to compromise a lot for it. And from what i heard Ryzen is bottlenecking this card in 1080p, not to mention 1080Ti is for 1440p and above. Sanctorum i really like your build ats almost same as my i7 build but offers more upgradeability thanks to mobo basically. and oddly enough in Czech rep. 7700k is cheaper than 6700k. You are only one who goes under my budget- very nice. I feel i should give more context to what i am striving for. I not planing to do any streaming or heavy workloads. it will be gaming PC.I plan to learn some photoshoping, but that´s all, gaming and usual stuff like internet, movies /intend to hook it up with my 4k TV/ thats all. And what will i game? i will be revisiting older games which i couldn´t play like Bioshock infinite, Metro Last light, DayZ mod for arma 2, Division, Battlefield 4 /if it still has some people playing it/ ect. I looking forward to Witcher, Titanfall 2, Doom. Prey i will be spending a lot of time in DayZ mod for arma 3, plyer unknown´s battlegroung looks awesome too and of coarse Wildlands.. I feel like with i7 and 1080 i will be able to push 100fps+ with max details in all games nowadays and future. Still waiting for vega though - it could be cheaper and offer more horsepower - we will see. I am still little bit unsure about 750w PSU in my i7 mini itx if i decide to go for it ,can i put 650 in there fine? and i didn´t wrote it in first post but monochrome or black and white will be theme for my build.
  6. like i was saying if it can do gaming it will handle my other workload, really not planning to do content.
  7. Hello people from LTT group forum Because I am from Czech Republic and I am not native English speaker, I want to apologize in advance for my grammar mistakes. What a confusing and hard time to build a PC we live in. Few months ago my biggest problem was i5 or i7 now i have to consider AMD too. I am planning and window shopping parts for some time now and possibilities drives me crazy. I really want to make a good decision with my purchase. I am waiting with start of my build for Vega or possibly for Volta (read some rumors that i can release in Q3 2017) so there in no rush. Prices in Czech rep. mirrors -isch UK´s, so you can tell my budget is around 50.000 CZK, that´s around 1700 £ pounds or 1800$ (difference in prices is at least 10% CZK to US$ so bear that in mind when you alternate my builds) I put together these 4 builds with UK PCPP. Intel i7 and Ryzen ATX build is little bit over my budget but i can manage, if it makes sense for me. I am looking for future proof build ideally in ITX formfactor, I don´t want to upgrade it until i won´t be able to play at least at medium. I´ve got BenQ XL2420Z which is 144Hz FullHD monitor, and I am planning to push as much FPS as possible in maxout setting in games on it. I am considering geting myself Dell S2716DG for Christmas but that is big maybe. I not planning to do any content creation maybe some light photoshop, basically if it can do gaming it will handle all other task i will put on it. On Intel i plan moderate OC for CPU, because I not sure about delidding. On Ryzen I want to get 4 GHz stable and of course there will be some RAM tweeking and GPU OC on all possible builds. Basically -the most sensible build is i5 build, but i am not sure with future proofness. My heart is really wanting that i7 build for maximum POWER :-D, but I fear that i won´t utillize al its power. ATX Ryzen build is basically alternative to both Intel builds and in my view middle-ground for both of them (and god except for this there is no budget friendly mobo that i would like). With mAtx Ryzen build i have issue that there is no benchmarks for that ab350 mobo and i am not sure how OCing will go. The ATx Ryzen build is in that regard more or less OK. Intel i7 Intel i5 Ryzen ATX Ryzen mATX case for this build There will be some alterations for ram in Ryzen builds because of compatibility reasons. PSU is maybe a little bit too much, but less noise will be appreciated with zero fan spinning, I am not sure about bottlenecking mainly in Ryzen department, and OC possibilities in mATX Ryzen build. I eager to start purchasing parts. I already have an NVME m.2 SSD for system storage and I am starting to buy parts that my builds have in common. So please help me out, because i am going from Intel to Amd and back in full circle trying to get best for my buck and now I am lacking perspective and in dire need of fresh opinion. Thanks in advance for any opinions answers or tweeks for my questions and builds.
