  1. Heya, I believe this ticks all your boxes, a friend of mine just bought this monitor. It's an 1080p, 144hz IPS panel at around 210 GBP https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-tuf-gaming-vg249q-24-1920x1080-ips-144hz-1ms-freesync-led-backlit-widescreen-gaming-monitor-mo-0at-as.html
  2. In my humble opinion, if you're just going to be playing at 1080p 60hz, then all you need is a 1060 or even a 580/570 if you can get your hands on one. You really don't need a 1080 ti to be playing on 1080p as you're actually limiting yourself on performance at that resolution. (not by much, but it is there) A graphics card choice also depends on what other components you have, IE do you have a CPU that is comfortable with what you're doing currently or is it running a little slow. In my opinion you should go with a 1440p screen, 144hz if you play competitive games and just get a 1080 or even 1070. (I used to run a 1070 at 1440p 144hz, not completely maxed out setting though if you want to stay above that sweet 144fps mark. I hope this helps.
  3. Also forgot to mention, I've locked the gpu fans to 25% to reduce noise as it's litearlly 50 cm away from my face.
  4. I'm not sure if this helps but, I'm currently running: Intel 5820k at 4.6GHz overlock, GTX 1070 ROG STRIX, Corsair LPX Vengeance 2x8GB (white) and an AIO watercooler from Deepcool, with an EVGA MICRO 2. IT all works nicely, running at an idle on the cpu of around 35 - 40C and the gpu idle at 35. (it's usually lower, but it's a warm day out today (23C... Okay it's warm for england xD)
  5. I'm not actually a fan of the 450, it looks a bit 'childish' in my opinion. As if it's trying to hard to look 'gamery'.
  6. Also that the NZXT S 340 Elite is considerably cheaper is another bonus.
  7. In my personal opinion and experience, the Phanteks EVOLV ATX didn't have enough airflow to maximise cooling potential. I'm currently using an NZXT S 340 Elite (white) which looks beautiful and sleek. It's relatively simple to work with, thought it's a bit tight on cable management space compared to the Phanteks Evolv ATX.
