  1. 4, and if you're wondering, my ram stick are both in the same color'ed dimm slots.
  2. Dam, well I can understand that. My PC has crashed twice, and on the 2nd crash it wouldn't even turn on. So I had to restart the electrical outlet and unplug the PSU and plug it back in.
  3. 2x4GB corsair vengeance pro. GPU is an MSI GAMING X GTX 1070. I had to lowball my CPU because the processor I wanted (i7 4790k) went WAY above my budget of 1k (including monitor, which was about 250 dollars or so).
  4. My PSU is a ThermalTake SMART 650W, I had to rush to buy this because my other PSU wasn't sufficient enough.
  5. So do I, again I run on 144hz so that is ideal. I can't even play on Oasis without an FPS drop on the lowest settings possible.
  6. BIOS kept freezing on me every few minutes (I go in the BIOS to mess around with some settings), possible crashing for the whole computer (can be the PSU, really leaning toward that) when I bought the same mobo it was DOA, so that sort of stuck with me. I didn't change too many settings in my mobo because I was pretty new to PC Building. The only thing I changed was my RAM speed, which I put at 1600 MHz which was the highest supported by my mobo.
  7. Alright, seems at my price range for upgrading. I'll save this part list.
  8. Maybe, but the thing is is that there is possible bottlenecking with either my GPU and CPU, so I was planning on upgrading it. My RAM doesn't run at the best speed, but from what I've found the differences in speed aren't that noticeable.
  9. Let me clear some things up real quick because I didn't think the missing information would be needed. The main reason why I want to upgrade my Motherboard is because it's really shitty, and I'm having many problems with it. Plus, I also have a 144hz monitor, so 144 fps in ideal for me in games like Overwatch, but the fps drops happen frequently. Hell i can't even run overwatch without losing 50 frames.
  10. Seems understandable. But I was planning on upgrading my RAM anyways because my mobo can only hold 1600 Mhz (it's an ASUS B85M-G R2.0
  11. So I've recently been planning on upgrading my PC soon, going to have to replace the motherboard and all the stuff inside it. My CPU has been the most glaring part of my build since my choice was an i5 4460 paired with a GTX 1070. I've been wondering if I should get the AMD Ryzen 1600 or i5 7600k. My price range is about $80 - $150 dollars on either the motherboard or cpu.
