it didnt matter what cable i tried, issue was the same. it had to or has to be something thats installed. because why would my fans override the stting i put them to.
possibly oc was bad and it was blackscreening me.
no evga sc.
ive just uninstalled a few programmes, one being speedfan, teamviewer and evga precision, everything is ok at the moment. but will give it another few boots.
i will try it, when the screen goes black, my gpu fans ramp up, even though i set them to 60%. it goes black when i try anything like youtube.
i had an overclock on, just removed it now, i hope my 1080 isnt broken, its like 3 weeks old
checked all this mate and it was fine. i personally something is conflicting maybe. because when i install the drivers its fine, as soon as i reboot it doesnt like it.
i brought my pc to a friends house (in my car), however i have an issue, it will boot fine, then randomly blackscreen, however i can still hear audio.
this happened to my ex girlfriend and it turned out to be a driver. anyway i reinstalled an older nvidia driver and then it was fine for the rest of last night.
came back on this morning and issue has arisen again. used ddu and as we speak everything is fine. could this be a driver conflict maybe? im out of ideas.
i got a bluescreen while in pugb, anyway, i thought, surely not my oc, its been fine for a couple weeks. rebooted and then it blackscreened and said "no display", rebooted again and same issue.
reinstalled older drivers and now its fine... anyone else ever had this problem?
you have 100% cpu usage on a 6700k? how? my 4790k doesnt even go over 80% usage... but the game does run pretty crap, i get around 100-110 fps on ultra with a gtx 1080 yet my mate with a 1080ti gets like 160.
oh this is an old thread...
take out your ram and reseat it, turn off your pc and monitor first then unplug the cable from the gpu, put it back in, restart the pc and then turn on the monitor.
if both your connections are vdsl, why the hell do you only have 10Mbps connections? surely you arent that far away from the cabinet, cant you just upgrade one connection to 20Mbps? why have the isp supplied you with such a poor router?
even a crappy router that only gives out 144Mbps wireless over 2.4ghz should give you 20Mbps.
it is most likely coil whine, coil whine doesnt always sound the same on every gpu, if your gpu is running how it should, dont worry about it, ive had a 970 and a 1080 with coil whine, usually when you have higher fps it occurs.
cores dont mean anything. pretty much every 4 core i5 from the 2nd gen are better than the fx 6300.
fx 6300 is a mediocre cpu and will bottleneck anything over like a 680 (or close)
thing is the price of it has risen, but i paid £60 for it, when i paid £60, there were no other fully modular gold rated psus anywhere near that price, they were all £80+.
