too bad you have to sell your house to pay for an operation, whoops.
we might pay more for our goods in the uk, but atleast our healthcare isnt pathetic. just saying.
the r1 and noctua are pretty neck and neck, but the noctua has better fans, i got the r1 before getting a kraken x62 and it was amazing and at the time £10 cheaper than the nh-d15
a 1060 6gb has nearly always been above 250 pounds... just goes to show how little you know kid.
250 usd isnt 250 pounds for a start, and we pay more than america for things anyway...
1080p 144hz is much better than 1440p 60hz, it baffles me how anyone can recommend a 60hz display these days unless its for rendering and all that good stuff.
where do it say youre using it for rendering? i cant see it, anyhow, if thats the case then you should be fine, however, that psu is cheap, i wouldnt spend so little on a psu for a system like that. if you can afford one, i recommend an evga 550 g2.
im not shopping for any, i have a gtx 1080, and no i dont live under a rock, its called working, i dont have time to check prices of gpus im not going to purchase myself.
also i live in the uk and ive just checked and gtx 1060s are at their usual price...
if you want an air cooler i would recommend either the noctua nh-d15 or cryorig r1 universal, both will set you back between 70-80.

8pack (overclocker from the uk) recently did a video about ryzen and ram overclocking, the new bioses should be fine with running xmp at 3000mhz without any issues. i believe he said gskill ram uses either samsung or hynix memory.
watching this may help
can i ask why have you gotten a ryzen 1700 and a 1050ti? is your main objective to game? because if it is, you should be getting a 1600 and something like a rx 480/580 or a 1060.
some more research suggests that when evga had issues with the ftw and the whole fire incident, it turns out that its possibly the vrms getting too hot. apparently it was an issue on the sc version too, although my sc should have been one that was manufactured recently.
update guys, things have been ok, however... this seems to be a known issue with the 1070 and 1080 cards from what i can find on google. black screen and 100% fan speed.
if it happens again im just gonna get it sent back to the retailer.
brah i know how to work a pc, for some reason even with a cmos reset integrated wasnt enabled, now it is, if i get a blackscreen again, i will put it into the motherboard to see if i get a signal.
