  1. meh windows is easy to install, i do get where you're coming from though, im not 100% sure if you can access files on a drive thats got windows on from another drive with windows on. something ive never read up on. i know you can dual boot off the same drive.
  2. its not insane amounts, jayztwocents did a video on it.
  3. have you literally just built this pc? because now when you get ryzen you have to get new ram and a new motherboard also.
  4. an 8350 is a poor choice by today's standards and has been for the last like 3 years, it wasnt the worst of cpus, just very power hungry and sucked for gaming.
  5. yeah i found a gigabyte g1 980ti for £300... it was like new, i was like wow.
  6. it does but then he has to skimp on the gpu, an ssd can always be added later, black friday there are usually really good deals on, i got my 480gb ssd for £90.
  7. a 1070 wont be cheaper than a 980ti, no way, unless its one of the crap blower style. a 980ti beats a 1070 in a lot of games.
  8. problem is the 6gb version is pretty much out of stock everywhere you look. a used 980 should only set him back around £200 and it has that 1gb more vram.
  9. whatever you do, dont get a 3gb gtx 1060, its really not worth it, if you can stretch your budget another say £100, you could probably get a used 980ti which is as powerful as a gtx 1070.
  10. i wouldnt suggest the 3gb version of the 1060.
  11. i havent included a graphics card because the prices of the amd cards and the gtx 1060 are a bit too high, i would suggest you fish around for a used 980. windows doesnt cost much at all if you look in the right place. 13. probably say maybe £500, dont even care if its 2nd hand.
  14. i was thinking about it but id still have to carry my monitor with me.
  15. i have vengeance and had to take the headspreaders off for the ram to fit, it should tell you the ram clearance on the site, you could always get the r1 universal. your ram is 55mm high, too high for the ultimate.
  16. i ran 970 sli on my 650 watt, surely he would be better with a 650 g2 maybe?
  17. i bet people are making some right profits.
  18. the last time i had an amd a10 apu, it was absolutely dog sh*t, seriously, it wouldnt even play at 30fps. it was the amd a10-7300.
  19. whats point going to 4k to play on low settings anyway? its not going to look remotely decent imho. but if you want to play 4k at decent settings without the likes of msaa id recommend maybe a used r9 390 or a 980.
  20. so its kind of annoying having to shove my pc in my boot every time i go to my dads, so im thinking about getting a laptop. i will probably only play csgo on it, whats the cheapest recommended that could do 100-144fps on the lowest settings at 1024x768. in British pounds.
  21. did you pay via paypal? if so open up a case, if you didnt, well then thats your fault, any company that doesnt except paypal scam 9 times out of 10.
  22. this started happening to me the other day out of the blue... now its working perfectly fine. i think my fix was to power down the pc, remove the cmos battery and then put it back in. i also tried removing the oc etc. try reverting back drivers and remove the current ones with ddu tool
