  1. it does not have multi ethernet ports .... unfortunately , it would have been nice . multi ethernet ports are a must for what i want to do with it , and I fear it wouldn't be fast enough. anyway , if I don't find a proper X86-64 mini PC as I originally intended , I might go with this : http://www.banana-pi.org/r2.html it cortex A-7 which is not that powerful so I'll keep it as a last resort.
  2. OH sorry I posted it by accident , I've just edited it a minute ago .
  3. Hello ladies and gentlemen , this post is to ask you your suggestions for a purchuse , I'm looking for a device to use it as portable/small to install linux on it and use it as networking and security device . I can't just build a computer and use it for that because there are some specifications I demand in order to move it with me easily and send copies to my relatives homes in different countries , these specification are : to be small form factor . to be powered by DC current . to have the ability to install and run the OS of my choice from internal storage (not USB flash) to have at least 2 ethernet ports (more is better) to have decent performance to run some services (firewall , openVPN , NAS , etc) for home use cases . preferably X86 platform but can be ARM if I have to (but in both cases it should be 64 bits processor) I searched a lot on the web but most websites I found are for servers or feature an AC input . preciate the help gents ,
  4. alright .... thanks every one . I'll be using B350 mother board .. you are awesome , thanks again <3
  5. mostly because it's not mine .. it's for a poor cheap a$$ kid
  6. won't it be build poorly ??? I don't want him to come after months to say your choices su%&
  7. yeah I already know alot of chipsets but for some reason I'm hesitating when building a system for other one . and that's because it's budget pc and I don't want to be blamed for my choices . no RGB needed , 2 usb is more than enough , and the only thing that may change is the graphics and MAYBE the cpu later . so what do you think ?
  8. hello every one , I'm building a new pc for some one and I'm confused what mother board to use for that build . it's a budget build , I'll use amd apu r5 2400g with plans to upgrade this pc later on the road , but the problem that I'm confused what chipset to choose . It won't be overclocking build but should I use B-series board or A-series board . note that the one I'm building this pc for want it to last at least 4 years , and later he will add a graphics card when he has money . any advice ? and factor that I may have forgotten ?? thanks for help .
  9. I agree , it's very very small market . unfortunately I can't find some thing I want on this market
  10. it has a market man , look what zotac did . a very lovely mini pc for gaming , my idea was something like it but stronger . and I can't make it true
  11. my only hope is that MAYBE zotac woll do a system for it's magnus lineup with amd cpus , which is very likely to be R5 or R7 not thread ripper ok then bigger case and passive cooled graphics card or mini case with R7 and no thread ripper thanks for help guys . <3
  12. yeah I know , I just asked for discrete graphics card on the mother board , which clearly don't exist
  13. ok so I guess my options are even bigger case and graphics card or R7 with low profile card
