I've been using HP Z workstation since i was a student (Z600,Z420 and now Z4 G4) it's not a cheap system when you add powerful CPU and GPU with more ram but it's a desktop workstation. There are HP Z mobile workstation out there and it's very powerful option but i don't see it as efficient as Apple Silicon. plus i do prefer macOS over Windows. I think emulating X86 using Windows 11 on ARM is far better than the old one in Win 10. in my country the 14" with 10 CPU 16 GPU 16 GB 512 SSD is sold for 57K EGP (Egyptian pound)

As a structural design engineer, none of the software I use is available under macOS, with the move to Apple Silicon having boot camp is gone. Only Autocad is available for macOS. (Revit, Robot, CSI Etabs and SAP200 aren't available for macOS.). I don't know why Apple doesn't consider engineers as pro users. I hope companies like Autodesk and CSI pay attention to the new Apple Silicon and macOS. For me, 14" with M1 Pro (10+16) with 16 GB of UM is enough, but it's expensive in my country.

If Microsoft can't give us a modern OS with consistent UI-Universal Dark Mode, due to the claims of breaking compatibility with 32-bit software from the 1990s. Redhat, one of the leaders in Enterprise space, has a solution for compatibility with legacy UNIX software -During the installation process, there's an option to install legacy components to run that legacy UNIX software on RHEL-. Why doesn't Microsoft make this option available with Windows Enterprise edition? Home, Pro users get a modern OS and give them the option to Install legacy components with those caveats if they want to run Windows 95 32 bit apps.

High-end workstations like HP Z8 G4 and Z6 G4 uses dual Xeons "Xeon Scalable processors". I hope Apple will follow the same trend, but it could increase the latency a little bit. When you think of the idea, there are dual AMD EPYC systems out there. AMD EPYC uses eight chiplets which are called CCX each one of them features an eight-core design, we have up to 16 CCX in a two-socket configuration, and they communicate over a 128 PCIe lanes. Workstations need to be modular with expansions. They should allow you to add ram sticks graphics card SAS/SATA storage NVMe storage, this is a pro workstation product. Apple should use ECC memory in this thing. I hope they have two solutions, one with a single socket "Mac Pro Mini" for prosumers-enthusiasts with a reasonable base price and a True full tower "Mac Pro" for Pros.

Can I receive the Dev channel of Windows 11 on the Leaked version? I'm using a Sandy Bridge EP 8 core Xeon E5 and yes it's unsupported as of now but the leaked version is running super fast on my pc. to receive the first official dev build of Windows 11 do I have to clean install Windows 10 and do a registry trick or I can get it on my current installation? and is there any way to get insider builds in form of an ISO file?

there's an old monitor in my house I just tried to connect it to an old box with gtx 750 TI. I just want to use the DP port on the monitor. the fact that Gigabyte GTX 750 TI windforce doesn't feature any native DP ports. so i bought a DP male to HDMI female adapter connected it to monitor then connected the HDMI cable from the GPU to the adapter and it doesn't show any signal . so how to get this setup to work? also, I found an amazon basic DP/HDMI cable with both ends male could this cable carry signal from GPU to Monitor.
