I clean my keyboard by unscrewing the bottom, removing the circuit board (and anything electronic) followed by using the shower head jets with some warm water to clean everything plastic.
I can also unscrew the shower head and partially block the water hose to create a powerful jet that can go under the keys and clean crap from under keys.

Once done, it's just a matter of natural drying (or using a hair dryer at some distance from the plastic so it won't get too hot) and dry out the plastics, and reassemble everything.

It would be really cool if they started signing their work (as Taran suggested from @ 23:29) so the guys become less invisible.

Maybe not in the video itself as end credits, but have the main scriptwriter, presenter, camera and editor (and others) in the video description area below the video.
    That would be pretty sweet.

Macrium Reflect is a brilliant tool to do it.
I've done it a couple times and you don't have to power off the machine which is great (unlike older solutions like Symantec Ghost which runs from a boot CD)

It's free for home/personal use and worst case scenario - it doesn't work so you plug your old drive back in and have another go.
It's been 100% for me so far (win7 and win10)

You could use the 970 as a dedicated method of recording game footage (using OBS)
Not streaming, but offloading a high bitrate NVENC recording so that it doesn't interfere with your CPU/GPU gameplay.

I did the HTTPS DNS change with no problems and moved on to this task to make sure things stay as snappy as possible, but ran into an error when attempting the sample inputs:
iptables/1.8.2 Failed to initialize nft: Protocol not supported
In case anyone else has this problem, it looks like installing NFTables + a reboot fixes the problem
sudo apt-get install nftables After a reboot I was able to add them adding "sudo" before each command

One thing I noted was the save function didn't work, but after looking at the man pages for iptables, iptables-save and iptables-apply, this seemed to work for me on Raspbian lite:

    sudo iptables-save -f /etc/network/iptables.up.rules

WeeemRCB reacted to MaratM in Shared fans for CPU and GPU - can it be done?
If you mobo supports external temp sensors, you can connect the water temp sensor to the mobo and configure one of the fan headers (in bios) on the mobo to be controlled by this external water temp sensor. This way if either your cpu or gpu or both under load the water temp will rise and cause the fans to speed up

    yes and no.

If someone gets "addicted" too much to gaming and gets distracted at work, or doesn't get enough sleep to perform normally at work, come in late etc... then gaming and its consequences might lead to unemployment.

Arctic silver is conductive, they have tried their best to stop its conductivity but by the nature of silver it will always hold some conductivity.

The Vram shouldn't have paste as its primary source of heat transfer. We use pads because the spacing between Vram and the cooler is much bigger than the die and cooler.
Either the paste won't touch the cooler properly or will have a negative effect because of how thick it is. Plus if it's not being squished then there could be air in it which is an insulator.

You can buy pads from Amazon or e-bay which are cheap.

I would say, take it apart again and make sure everything is connected properly.
Don't over do the paste because it's silver. If it was a silicon paste then I would say put as much as you like.
    Put pads on the Vram.
    Put back together.

After watching the last couple of episodes of Scrapyard Wars (love them btw), it was really bugging me that Luke was checking his phone all the time while driving.
I've had my share of close calls from texting drivers while on my motorbike and I have a friend that was knocked of his bike by a texting driver. it's been a big problem in the UK.

I'm sure guys in BC already know the score, but for those that don't it's a decent fine + demerits if you get caught:  https://www.caa.ca/distracted-driving
SYW is already filmed, so we're in the hands of the editors now, but for future roaming projects, Linus / Procurement, please make sure your guys 'on duty' have hands free kits or a dashboard mounts available so phones can be safely used as satnavs.

Not just for their safety... Selfishly I want you guys to continue making videos uninterrupted

(and for the smartarses oot there - yes, I know this season's SYW was filmed in California where the fines are insignificant, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous)

I bought some of those to make a filter for the top on my define nano case, probably won't be pretty, but it should work OK. The material looks a little restrictive, but giving it a shot anyways, alternative would be cutting up some stockings and stretching out the material.
