  1. I've heard the Dell G5 has a pretty dull screen, but i have considered it
  2. I'm going to university next year and I'll need a laptop for my study. However I won't be able to have a gaming desktop, so I thought I'd combine the two and get a gaming laptop. I'm looking for something with a 7th or 8th gen i5 and a gtx 1060 and at least 8gb of RAM. An IPS panel would be preferred but a good TN panel is okay if that's all that's available. Decent (6h ish) battery life is a must and a screen size of around 15" is what i'm looking for. I don't really want to spend more than $1000 - $1100 USD. Does anyone know any good options?
  3. Thanks, that worked don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place
  4. Ever since I've upgraded to a GTX 1050ti (yes, super budget, I know,) from an ancient ATI Radeon HD4870 I have been having an issue with everything on my screen appearing slightly blurred, which didn't happen with my old card. It's at 1920x1080 at 60hz, the native resolution, and I've tried tweaking the nvidia control panel to no avail. Does anyone know what the issue is/how to fix it?
  5. So, I have been looking for a ROM for my Huawei P8 lite (ALE-L02) but most ROMs I have found the camera recording does not work. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am looking for a nougat/marshmallow ROM
  6. I have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard and an AMD Athlon II X3 445 chip. I am wondering if there is a way I can update/change the BIOS to enable unlocking of the 4th core on the chip
  7. Yep. When I first built the system (over a year ago now) I bought the cheapest possible compatible motherboard
  8. I do have an OEM motherboard (http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-78LMT-USB3-rev-41#ov) but I have a 600W PSU
  9. I have an Nvidia 1050ti and 8GB of RAM but a (very) outdated Athlon II 445 3.1ghz Triple Core. I'm looking to upgrade to an FX chip but I don't know whether I will need more than 4 cores for some gaming and possibly some light video production. Help please?
