  1. It doens't have other components in it, it's just the case. Thanks for letting me know though, I would've send it all together
  2. I believe the box makes it a bit too big for a carry on. I could pull it out of the box, however, the form of the case (kinda square) doesn't help much. Thanks for your help!
  3. Hi All, I’m from Guatemala and I’m currently visiting some relatives in the US. I went to Micro Center yesterday and got to see the PC O11 Dynamic from Lian Li face to face! I loved it! Unfortunately, there a no resellers to that back home. I was thinking in have its box checked as luggage and bring it home with me. Do you think it could survive? What would you recommend, besides not getting it, in order to bring it home without it breaking? Thanks un advance!
  4. Thanks man! I bought them on sale for black friday, I didn't know it'll be such a hassle to make them look as in their package picture.
  5. Thanks sir! Yeah, I bought the pack and it does come with a controller. With that you can set up 6 colors, different speeds and different effects. However if you want to a single fan to different colors, like in this image, Apparently you need the commander that links with a cable to the controller included with the fans. I just don't know if that cable that links both the fan controlller and the Commander comes with the Commander box or if it came with the fans and I lost it or if you need to buy it separately. Sorry, kinda mess, isn't it?
  6. Hi everyone! I bought a couple of HD 140 from Corsair. They do have a manual control that allows you to change color/effect/speed. I've been wanting to put on them that 'puke-RGB' effect Linus got in his RGB build guide (you know, to increase my FPS by 200% and stuff) but apparently you need to buy a Corsair Commander Pro separately. Now, I've seen that there's a 3-pin cable that connects both the hub that came with the fans and the Commander Pro, but where do I get that from? Would that be included on the Commander box or should I buy it separately? Should I buy the Lighning Node Pro instead? Thanks in advance for your help!
  7. Hi! At the beginning of the year I did my first build which was pretty budget. Didn't want to spend too much at the time but after putting it together I got engaged to PC builds and now here I am. I've started a couple of topics in here asking you for suggestions or advice. I thought for a while to do a Ryzen build but the lack of local support for Ryzen in my country made me go with Intel (there are nowhere to be found other than importing them from USA). At last, I've come to this build which I'll be finishing within the next couple of weeks. Just wanted to see if there's anything I'm missing, any part I should be swapping or something like that. Thanks in advance for your time! Btw, I already have the drives so I didn't add them to the list. 8. Hi Guys! Out of these two boards which do you consider better or would recommed for buying? ROG Maximus IX Hero - $215 ROG Strix Z270E Gaming - $190 Besides the $25 difference, which do you think will be more suitable for a 7700K and a 1080ti FE? I've seen the specs on Asus' webiste but cannot find huge differences besides RAM speed (4133 vs 3866), USB internal ports (1 vs 2) and back usb ports. Would appreciatte all kinds of help or comments, specially if you got one of these boards. Thanks in advance and have a great weekend!
  9. Hi Guys! Following your advice, I went for upgrading my PSU & CPU instead of getting an overkill GPU. Now, I made an error when running the numbers and ended up with a $300+ CPU and a $30 cooler (7700k & 212 EVO). I made a custom fan curve that goes like this: - 40% at 30° - 60% at 50° -100% at 70° I haven't overclocked just yet and when running Aida64, the max temp I got was 71°. However, would you consider that the fan curve might be optimized? Does anyone with a similar setup has similar temps? Also, what would be a good upgrade when it comes to cooling the CPU? Would you rather go with air or AIOS? Thanks in advance for your help, have a great day!
  10. I hadn't seen that Phanteks case but looks great! Thank you for your help! A question came to mind. Right now I have an EVGA PSU but it doesn't say anywhere that is certified 80+ soemthing. Is there too much risk if it doesn't have that certification even though is from a well known brand?
  11. I'm planing to get a better monitor within the next couple of months but in the meantime I'll be using my 27'' 1080 Dell monitor and was thinking about cranking settings to 1440 to decrease anti-aliasing and get around 80-90 fps.
  12. Hi! I build my first computer some months ago (i3 6100, 1050ti) and been doing great so far. However I want to upgrade it and kinda 'futureproof' the graphics card. I've seen many Intel build logs and initially wanted to go for an i7 but now I'm kind of tempted to upgrade to Ryzen. Here's what I've managed to gather so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jtMQ9W You might seem some odd choices. I'm planing to puchase the parts locally (Guatemala) and those are what sellers here have on hand. However, if you think I could do much better with other parts please let me know. I could send them to a friend's house and he can ship them to me. FInally, which do you think is better between GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming & ASUS Prime B350-Plus? I chose the ASUS one since here somewhere that has better overclocking capabilities than Gigabyte and I currently have an ASUS MoBo and like very much the UEFI. My ceiling is around $1300, that's why I didn't go for the Ryzen 7. Thank you in advance for your help!
  13. Wow, I didn't know cheap MOBOs would cause a bottleneck as well. Thank you! I use it only for gaming. Currently on 720/1080 (got a 1050) but looking forward to try the sweetness of 1440 or even 4K. Here's what I have at the moment: - Corsair Carbide Spec-01 (Plenty of space). - Asus H110M-K motherboard. - Intel Core i3 6100. - EVGA GTX 1050 Superclocked. - 8GB Corsair Value Select RAM 2133 Mhz. - Corsair VS500 500 Watts 80 Plus White. - 120 GB SSD & 1 TB HDD. How would you upgrade? I mean, what would you upgrade first? Thanks for all your help!
  14. Hi everyone! This is my first post so if I'm doing something wrong please let me know. I've been saving for a while and was thinking about getting a new 1080 ti since it looks just sick. I currently have an i3 6100 so I'm thinking there might be a bottleneck in there. Do you think I should go for it or should I hit some middle group upgrading to a i5 7600k & GTX 1070 or something like that? Thanks in advance for your help!
