Well , doing heist is the best part in GTA Online but it's a nightmare unless you have the right crew. 
For beginning heist u hav to buy an apartment and when u buy a facility u can do Doomsday heist as well (as a leader)

Don't play it if you want to earn money.
It's actually more efficient to go out there, work an actual job and use that money to spend it on shark cards.
 
Just don't bother, play whatever you want and have fun, there's no point in earning cash in the game.

Oh yeah, with the right people it's very fun but, with just randoms, it might be a bad time.

For tabbing out you could just set the game to Borderless windowed or, Windowed mode but, you'll need something like borderless gaming to fullscreen it.
 
As for the loading times, I don't know for sure but, it probably takes longer to load into Online directly because the game has to load the world as well.
When you load in from the Story mode the world is probably already loaded.
 
Ps.: GTA Online is very toxic from my experience. I usually just played races.

Make sure you know the maps and call-outs. Find a website with the maps that you can view, such as https://www.r6maps.com/
 
also try find a party or group of friends to play with, you can easily make friends in casual mode.

lol I've been playing PUBG on and off for like a year and still suck at it.
It's easily one of the most frustrating online games I have ever played. My typical gameplay experience: Sneak around for 10mins and get good gear -> headshot out of nowhere -> dead -> repeat.
It really weird that I can jump into a round of BF after months of not playing and easily get into the top 3 of the server. In PUBP if seems that every single player has better reaction time / aim than me, since I lose at least 8/10 of one on one battles -> and this is with 18 years + FPS experience.

Okay, so some guy is willing to pay $400 Canadian for my microwave (R9 290X). I just put it up casually without expecting anyone to really buy it, but hey...selling something for a ridiculously high price is a good thing!
 
I have a few options here. First thing I gotta determine is whether or not I should keep the price or charge a little more, which might be risky but may also yield results. I can also just put it up on eBay, since the cheapest 290X on eBay right now is 470 dollars + taxes and shipping, which is ridiculous. The listing looks pretty popular, so I figure I can put up my 290X for around 430-450.
 
Then, I have an additional few options:
 
1) GTX 980 for $340 used, on Kijiji. Price may be negotiable, I dunno. Seems to be the best deal so far, since I can make 60 bucks while getting a faster, quieter, and more efficient card.
2) GTX Titan for $325 used, on Kijiji. Price firm. It's around 5-10% slower than my 290X, but I can make 75 bucks and also get that sexy reference cooler design...idk...(I'm stupid, I know...)
3) GTX 980 Ti, new from Newegg, for $500 plus tax and shipping. Works out to around 570 dollars. I'd definitely prefer not to spend that much, but if it's worth it, it's something I'm considering, especially if I can get a little more off of my 290X.
4) GTX 780 for $200. It's much slower than a 290X, but I get 200 dollars.............................................................................................moneymoneymoney

the 980 seems like the best option. It's about on par with the 290x, but you don't get shafted by NVIDIA sponsored titles (such as Just Cause 3). Plus, when the mining bubble eventually pops, the 980 will probably go even cheaper, so you can have a supercool SLI setup.

High-end cards depreciate worse than mid-range cards because there will always be something newer and better over the horizon (with a few exceptions). But if you're getting a 3440x1440 monitor, then naturally the GTX 1080Ti will be the ideal pairing.

21:9 QHD 100Hz will be a very nice match with 1080ti.

Get your new monitor first. Vega will launch next month (end of July), so how about waiting for that? Even if you don't want Vega, at least the price of the 1080ti and 1080 will drop (unless Vega sucks)

Maybe a little bit. Depends on game. But don't spend money on that. The main difference is the power consumption--->heat---->noise.
