    Actually no. Given the shortage a 9980xe is right now going for 2.5-3K USD. Same with the entire lineup, bc supply and demand. I did wanna say that i got lucky that for like a few hours the 9940 was at 700USD which is what the new chip would cost so i did manage to get one. By the next morning price was back to 1300.

    Given it is impossible to buy one i wonder if anyone knows (sure speculation is fine too) if they did a first release date so rushed that they only had so many units and they will release more in the future, or if that was it.

    Not knackered, just as with all memory, it can only do so many writes, so it will be close to dying (they don't show signs of wear, they will just literally stop working one day). Having said that, it is not like they are going to be honest in telling you it was used for mining, so you'll be taking a gamble.

    Mining cards "we" are hoping for. I am not hoping for one, I also KNOW as it has happened before neither do miners. Miners EXPECT to resell their cards to actually make a profit, and only gaming GPUs hold resell value. Therefor, mining cards (unless sold for 50US) will not solve ANY pricing issues.

    Not because Linus is in love with Noctua it means they are better at fans. If you have used a maglev (and that is all I use since they came out) you know the much better performance and acoustics that it delivers.

    Thousands!? you can get a second hand one (or get a discounted one) for about 700 dollars. Don't make up facts, plz!

    Still worth it. You could find a designer friend and he could get you 50% off on a new chair. Also, they have a 15 year warranty, so even if not new still great. They are 20 times better than regular or gaming chairs. THOSE are overpriced for what they are. You will thank me for a long time after you've purchased the Herman Miller.

    Herman Miller Aeron. Yes, they have a headrest add-on. Best investment of your life, consider this chair will be the basis of your future skeletal health.
