  1. Prices are waaaaay cheaper than any other retailer I can find here in the UK. For example: Alza - 1080ti Strix £739 Amazon/ebuyer/scan/oc - £799
  2. Hey, Looking to buy a new 1080TI and after checked multiple sites (scan, overclockers, amazon, ebuyer etc) I came across Alza.co.uk Has anybody here in the UK used Alza before? Their prices seem to be £50-80 cheaper than other popular retailers and something about it seems off. Alza is based in Czech so not covered by the EU Law for stuff like faulty on delivery etc Bit sceptical as it's a fairly big purchase so want it to go smoothly.
  3. Hmm yeah maybe I'm being too picky about it.. thanks for you reply!
  4. Hey, Just picked myself up the XB271HU Acer Predator monitor - (IPS, 144hz, gsync, 1440p). Just wondering what type of screen mode I should play in for games? I only have a single monitor set up so I've always loved windows borderless - however I've recently seen information that the input lag is substantially higher playing this way? I mainly play CSGO and other competitive games at a high level (supreme rank for example).. so input lag is something that worries me as such. Should I continue to play borderless windowed or convert over to true full screen? Appreciate the help!
  5. If it's not as bad as you lot say FE maybe the best choice for me - I mean just going by reviews I've seen e.g. Jays2centz shows throttling, given that it was at max load and its rare i'll ever use it at max load..
  6. Hey, Looking to buy a new 1080ti for around £750 just unsure exactly on what cooler to go for. My case is S340 elite (white) and I've pretty much gone for a white theme, with a z170 deluxe white board, 32gb 3.2mhz white corsair ram etc.. So far I've discovered that; FE is a no go due to thermal throttle but it's my favourite cooler design, ROG Strix looks great, has great performance but is £800 here in the UK which is £50 more than I want to spend, MSI performance and price is also great but WHY THE RED?!?!? Gigabyte OC white looks good, cooler performance is decent too - but no back plate which is a huge deal breaker for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
