  1. No problem Thanks for explaining, running corecycler sounds like a good idea then, regardless if the crashes return XMP is set to 3200 yes
  2. I spent the rest of the evening taking apart and cleaning my PC. I've put it back together and have been playing for a while without any crashes. Thanks for your reply nonetheless! 1. I checked, in MSinfo, bios version is 5.20, as stated 2 times earlier in this thread. 2. I do have XMP turned on, running at the rated speeds. If it crashes again I will turn it off to see if it helps. 3. Will do this if the crashes return and XMP off doesn't help. In the meantime, what does it do? 4. Downloaded the Memory and Storage tool, which says the drive is no longer supported. Thanks Intel. 5. Downloaded the Crucial Storage Executive, updated to the latest driver version.
  3. Crashed with the game on my other SSD aswell. Added this in the main post aswell
  4. They are on the same disk yeah, I'll try installing it on the other SSD. Hope your problem gets fixed! @mumintroll Memtest86+ didnt find any errors after 1 full pass
  5. Good, I don’t really feel comfortable installing beta BIOS either. Running a memtest atm, at 30% no errors yet.
  6. I know, I was just explaining why I don't think that's the case, although I agree with your reasoning. I forgot to mention the intel 660p SSD is also from the previous build. The mobo, psu and boot ssd are around 4-5 years old now. I've added this in the original post aswell I'm at bios version 5.20 (see image below), which is the latest non-beta bios release. Do you recommend updating to version 8.01 [Beta]?
  7. Same MoBo and PSU yeah. The 90 degrees is only during absolute load, during gaming its around 50-60 C. I was hoping a new PSU wouldn't be the issue, since having both CPU and GPU at 100% during the stress tests didn’t cause a crash.
  8. Hey everyone, CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Cpu cooler: Noctua c14s MOBO: AsRock B450 Fatal1ty ITX RAM: 2x16GB corsair vengeance 3200mhz GPU: MSI RTX 4070 ventus 3x PSU: Corsair 600w SFX 80+ platinum OS: Windows 11 Boot Drive: Intel 660p 1TB NVMe SSD Storage: 2TB Crucial MX500 2,5" SSD I've bought "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" and "Star Wars: Jedi Survivor" and during normal gameplay the system just resets, no error, no popup, no bluescreen. The screen goes to black, and the PC reboots. I can't find any errors or critical messages in windows event viewer either. Both games are installed on my C: drive which is on the Intel NVMe SSD. I'm gaming at 1440p, Digital foundry optimized settings in Avatar, and High without raytracing in Jedi Survivor. Both using DLSS Quality Upscaling. I've tried removing the undervolt on both cpu and gpu. -> Still crashed I've tried setting a 90% power limit for my GPU -> Still crashed I've tried updating my AMD chipset drivers and Nvidia GPU drivers -> Still crashed I've updated my windows to the latest version. -> Still crashed I've tried "sfc /scannow" multiple times, only the first one repaired some faults, the most recent one didn't find any faults. -> Still crashed I've tried stress testing the GPU and CPU with prime95 and Furmark, simultaneously to increase the load on the system. Things that might be good to know: I've had some issues with my previous system which used the same motherboard, both the Intel and Crucial SSD and psu, but with an ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2070. Some games just crashed randomly, and some bluescreens. I've updated this system last august/september and did a fresh driver install with DDU, and updated my BIOS to support the 5800X3D cpu. Things I'm going to try: Disable adaptive sync -> Didn't work Disbale HDR -> Didn't work Disable DLSS (maybe use FSR instead) -> Didn't work Disconnect 2nd monitor -> Didn't work Running Memtest86+ to check for errors -> Didn't work Using keyboard and mouse instead of PS5 controller -> Didn't work Have no uneccessary background programs running (such as Wallpaper engine, afterburner, discord etc) -> Didn't work Reïnstalled GPU drivers with DDU in safe mode -> Didn't work If nothing else works ill be doing a clean Windows install and BIOS update to the latest version. (BIOS is already at the latest non-beta version) Will update on this, might take some time because holiday season Max CPU temp during prime95 is 90 C with fans running at 100% Max GPU temp during Furmark is 60 C with undervolt Max GPU temp during Furmark is 63 C without undervolt Temps checked in HWMonitor Can anyone please help me? I find it very frustrating because I've got no idea whats causing it, and I've put a lot of money, time and effort in my build. Happy holidays everyone!
  9. lelel, which one did you have?
  10. Hahaha, Yeah I posted it there aswell
  11. Yeah, i've looked at some xiaomi phones, but the mi mix 2 is around €100 more
  12. Unfortunately the S8, regular p20/pro are out of my budget. And the regular mate 10 isnt sold here, well I haven't found any store that sells it. I've indeed heard that samsung phones tend to slow down overtime, but every phone does, right..?
  13. Hey guys, My 11 month old honor 9 is declared dead, first it was runover by a car ( surprisingly only the screen was broken, touch worked) and last weekend I accidentally threw it at the ground while attempting to catch it while falling. So here I am, looking for a new good bang for the buck phone, I've been searching for a while now and I've narrowed it down to 2 phones. The nokia 7 plus, and the samsung galaxy a8. Nokia 7 plus because: The android 8 update policy big battery, I haven't found any battery life/charging test so if you know where to find one please help Around 17%-20% better than the a8 in performance tests (Source, in dutch sorry) (source 2) Samsung galaxy a8: AMOLED display long battery life (source, in dutch I'm sorry) (source 2) great selfie cam IP68 certification. Phones that I've considered but didn't convince me: Honor 9, LG G6, Honor 8, P20 Lite, P10, P smart. Things that I find important: USB type-C A good display; A good battery life and charging time; And a good camera, be it selfie and normal. I'll most likely install nova launcher again so ugly homescreens won't be an issue. Both phones are the same price here Thank you and please let me know what you think.
