    good to hear!
I guess a temp of 70c and hostspot of 83 is perfectly fine then (i.e. the delta)?

Personally, i'd try 2no. of the NF-P12 in the front as the static pressure my help and put the stock fans back in at the rear and top and just take a measurement and compare the results.  Also just check you CPU cooler hasnt come loose just as a precaution as mentioned above.

Id deffo upgrade that cooler even if you dont plan to overclock. Running the CPU at lower temps in never a bad thing.

Also try tuning you fan curves, it may take a while to get it right but dont give up. Took me ages to find the right balance for my system.

I doesnt make sense your gaing temps, just check the airflow channel using your hand or a scap of paper to visualise the airflow path. Also uses your GPU temps to guage performance changes

I wouldnt place a intake and an exhaust at the front, theyll just end up fighting each other. Also with the H510 having a solid front panel theres a limit how much air youll get through it via the side intakes. Large amounts of tempered glass and solid panels leads to higher temps. no getting around that.

Hmm strange, maybe it's the AF model of the 1600 which is based on 2nd Gen, but either way I'd still recommend to turn off XMP/DOCP to see if that fixes it, I still wouldn't recommend running 3200Mhz on 2nd Gen either as that has been problematic for some, if disabling XMP fixes it then check if it's the AF model on the box and if it is, then lower the RAM frequency manually to 3000Mhz, and if it's not then lower it to 2933Mhz.

don't really want to reinstall windows, got so many files I need to keep.
Will run a stress test, or maybe just leave HWMonitor open to see what max temps the cpu hits

Yeah I've managed to get a steady 60 on a Fury and a GTX 660, both of course less powerful than your card, so it's just a matter of settings, as with anything.  You should be able to get an excellent experience still.  There comes a point with graphics settings that you sort of tip over the edge into things that tank the performance for little or no actual visual improvement.

really a card that old would probably have a hard time with even just Youtube. You can get like a b-stock GT610 for 20 bucks though and it'll work enough, or see of someone you know would be kind enough to let you use an old GPU until you can afford your own.

iHomer reacted to Canada EH in School, does where you go truly matter for employers?
Yes, employers look at education for a clearer picture of intelligence and an insight into how you apply yourself.

    yes and no

education is the key factor when it comes to income and job growth.

Also work history plays a crucial role in the hiring process.
The interview plays an all important role as well. You could have an A+++++AAAAA on resume, but in person some could be a Z-----ZZZZZZ

You could "Consult" or build your own software, go find employment with a employment agency whether temporary, pt or ft. You just have to get whatever jobs come your way in the field you are in or want to be in and plug away at it.

The thing is, they are not mechanically inclined on anything other then pc's and servers and electronics.
It would be too cost prohibitive to outsource painting or mechanical work. Unless L-man can get 2pennies to fly in from the usa and wrench and build, I have a feeling he maybe a wrencher with his, hmmmm how shall I put this, with his imported "tuner" vehicle. The thing is, most of those types of people, don't get dirty fingernails or even do their own basic services. Harley Davidson owners are like that, look all tough maybe tatted but dont spin a wrench. I am trying to think of others that can fly in, I am sure there are a few yt people out there.

My idea would be in the early days of pc's the hardcore people literally built their own pc's. I doubt the ltt crew have any soldering skills to speak of. If the price point is right, maybe get a pcb printer that can do assembly to do it. I am sure there is a very niche market out there for this type of pc building. Maybe there is a service out there that they can use that is just generic pick and place to build a motherboard. Would be to time consuming IMO to even do it, too risky to do it based on internet investigations alone.

The only way this can be done is through a promo, getting Linus to promote a local company that fixes vehicles and paints vehicles and going out and buying $500 vehicle challenge. Then getting Linus and group to do the "Pimp my Ride" side of the electronics game, using used, cheap electronics components.

I dont think including the pink lambo is a good choice, I think two $500 vehicle challenge is the key here, but only with help from a knowledgable wrencher. So some planning is involved, but my idea would be a fresh angle on the stale content assembly line. Perhaps get old CRT in the trunk, with old nintendo, 8 track, speakers. Retro angle to it all. It is probably way to ambitious for the HQ's efforts. If it is done right, with the right silly facial expression as the video's thumbnail picture, I think it would sell like hot cakes and fly off the shelves for some big time profit.

    Other ideas to add

    Fuzzy Dice
    Disco Ball
Kitt car lighting, remember that 80's tv series, yeah that

    Again, probably too ambitious.

As long as the GPU doesn't get hot enough to thermal throttle, there shouldn't be any reason that fans would effect performance.
