  2. Good show but maybe I'm starting not too relate to you guys as much. Because my first console was the Psx and we are a sony household so it's sad to hear the stuff about them. And I never played zelda dobt have any family members who has either. I never really liked Nintendo just the game boy. Never really played Mario cart or smash brothers or whatever so I don't understand the playing the old games part. Maybe the kid may want to know the prequels to Metal gear 4 by playing metal gear solid but I don't know. That's just my opinion but I dunno man your losing me withe recent rants and barley talking about the topics I wanted to hear about. I don't know man but I'm still a fan man. Why do you guys like Nintendo so much? Is it just because I can in during the Playstation days as a 90s kid?
  3. I agree with this guy but here's another suggestion let break the norm and let it be two different tech people like MKBhD vs Pauls hardware it would be good too see how the tech varies in each area. I really do like this idea but it should have its own channel. The different people would be great in my opinion but I guess it wouldn't be too fair? I'm not sure. But I love the show make it at least 2 times a week.
  4. I was hoping for that too i maybe the only person, but I have never been much of a music mood person so I'm not to crazy about headphones esspically with my glasses no every pair of headphones I wear seem to bug me with them on. I never really understand how people can put there headphones on and just tune out the world or listening to a song will make them feel better if they are having a bad day.I actually bought a pair of Vmodas m100s thinking I would give it a shot but nothing no mood change or emotions. Maybe it's just me? You should do some reviews about some home theater stuff like some good entry level tower speakers and receivers and stuff. I am actually shopping around for a new projector and I could use some advice on some accessories and stuff I currently use an Hd20 and its great but I would like something with a smaller throw distance if possible.
  5. What displays were you going to use for your build? I been hearing good things about those Korean monitors
  6. Yeah im gonna try out some shooters later on i thought splinter cell would work but it blacks out the two side screens as soon as you start a mission and yeah I will make sure I post to imgur. I'm sorry to hear that it's not available in Scotland I think the UK version is out called leha or something with an L check the seiki forum here they said it even has the same splash screen as the seiki. So maybe it's gonna slowly roll out everywhere? I'm not sure but I know I wasn't gonna lose my displays I brought them right over the border with me into Canada since they don't got them either for some reason.
  7. Typing reports here you know your stuff muramasa! I wish I could upload a screenshot of 7680x1440p at normal settings I always thought that high settings was what you should play on. But honestly at least in Creed it looks pretty Damn good
  8. Yeah i would have got those 6gb 780s I would really like to see your numbers when you get them. I played Creed on 1440p eyefinity and it was hitting 3.4 or so but my setting was just to normal honestly I am thinking that if it becomes an issue I will just down the resolution to 5780x1080p @120hz and play on that the real reason I wanted that resolution was because more real estate for when I'm working on papers and stuff also got Guild wars 2 i haven't tried it at that 7680x1440 resolution yet but I will in a couple of weeks. So I'm gonna down the resolution on the more demanding games I never played Metro or seen any commercials about it but I will check it out. AAnd don't get me started on this watercooling thing! For some reason I am trying to use amd overdrive and any small adjustment causes my screen to blank and start to flicker really bad. So I just left it alone what I didn't mention was that these are used cards that I think was used for crypto mining but I got the receipt and it's only a couple of months old so I don't know if I'm just over clocking it wrong or what? I had to uninstall my drivers to remove my amd overdrive settings and I had to redo my custom resolutions and everything so I won't be messing with that again until I know what I'm doing. As you can see from the pictures I gave the cards plenty of airflow so that I could overclock. On a side note I think your right there isn't enough gpu horsepower for higher resolutions yet so it is important to wait for lots of vram and horsepower to become the norm. But my biggest problems was with the display I was using an old 6670 for eyefinity on 3 TCL 42" displays and I noticed that with that size you really need higher resolutions. But for some reason pc monitors top out at about 27 and now 30 or so but no manufacturer is making a monitor that I liked luckily the seiki was made and are cheap too and custom resolutions work great. I had to use my old Asus 27 a few months ago as a single monitor and man going from 3 42s to 1 27@1080p was hell at least now I do see myself upgrading my displays for a long time unless seiki releases and updated model that takes custom resolutions better at 39"
  9. Where do I find those ninja keys? I would really like to also let me see my back light through them on the side.
  10. since I know the custom resolution works over hdmi and I can use the DVI pin removal to fix the detection issues. Im gonna be relocating the whole entire system into another room and I was gonna stack them on top of each other I got something to use a spacer since the Medusa Server has an upward CPU fan the computer Im kinda paranoid about these computer and its gotta stay cool im still new to PC building. so I am gonna do some planning soon and figure out where this stuff should go so the girl isnt tripping over cables. heres what im thinking of using to relocate the system: 75ft HDMI x4 85ft USB 2.0 extension 2 usb 3.0 to gigabit for the server maybe HDMI switch or something to switch between the hdmi on Medusa Server and 9k to play on the projector for those games that doesnt have eyefinity working like splintercell blacklist and its 2 black bars on the side of my screen......for no reason
  11. this. I had a very hard time finding benchmarks or any kind of info on 1440 eyefinity and the titan was a choice but i cant afford to drop near a grand on a graphics card that will be obsolete in a couple years with nvidia's maxwell around the corner. also my last card was AMD and AMD's eyefinity seems like its always worked fine for me and when I was doing research on what cards to get I hear that AMD is for multi monitor and Nvidia is for single High rez display. but I dont know never owned an Nvidia card and the price difference was too great for such an small difference in fps I also dont really play to many shooters I mostly play stuff like Guildwars and console ports and stuff so fps is an concern but graphics quality is first.
  12. sorry guys I got an update I finally got 7860x1440p@60hz working on the seiki's Im still having a couple of problems with some light snow on one of the displays and it takes me a couple of tries to for the resolution to work across all monitors. I did see linus's video it is actually one of my favorites and I did do a lot of research and the difference between 8x and 16x is very low also their isnt alot of x79 motherboards that support triple crossfire at x16 that is under $250. thanks for tips you guys I thought that i was wrong for second after doing more recent research when I was shopping around but its good to know that im not the only who thought that 8x is good enough. I would have loved to tried those 6gb 780's but honestly it was out of my price range and it wasnt released at the time I went for the most resonable card with the most vram and since the r9 had a problem with it luckily the kraken G10 was made that made it an even better option because I can kinda watercool on a budget. @Muramasa why would 3 290s have a problem? I know that adding a 3rd card gives you only small gains but It should be a noticeable difference at this resolution. I took a screenshot of Creed 4 at 1440p eyefinity but i think its too big upload I wanted to show you guys. any tips? Alo I was thinking of the x79 extreme 6 or RIVE x79 motherboard? the extreme 6 is the kinda budget option but i think it has the same speed pci lanes as the other boards 3 way @ 8x 8x 8x which is all that matters.
  13. Sorry for the double post it's really good I'm still working on the resolution issues but I got 1440p working fine on single monitor. But I don't have any complaints about the monitor it's been working fine for me.
  14. Ha brick table funny I was Gonna get that Nzxt case but I wanted it sideways so the cards don't bend down and this case $50!
