  1. All YT content about technology is entertainment. If you take everything a YT video says as 100% unequivocal truth then there's an issue, and it's you. While someone's testing may be 'trusted and accurate', it's only accurate for the exact parameters they tested in. You could have the same hardware as the used test bench for a GPU, for example, and get radically different results. There isn't a perfect science or method to test and benchmark computer components due to the myriad of factors that can pop-up.
  2. Most companies don't want employees discussing wages or compensation; that's sadly normal in business. While I don't agree with it, that's not unexpected or abnormal in any manner. It's a form of control and division over employees.
  3. I never implied you thought that. Nor do I want people to think I am anti-union; I am very pro-union. It's just I've seen a lot of people calling for unionization, and I would imagine a large number of those people are not in unions or have truly dealt with unions. Unionizing is not a simple or easy process. And there are examples were unionization has made situations worse.
  4. I counted 10 in a quick glance, which is a woefully low number.
  5. Funny in the way that some people think that will just magically fix everything in a short timeframe. Some people don't realize unions are typically slow AF to move when forming. Even long running unions are typically slow; only the Baseball Players union seems to move fast and for the true benefit of their memebership. If you want to read on a truly effective union that does real work, read on the MLBPA and Marvin Miller. MM managed to sell complex economic and collective bargaining and action to professional athletes in the 60s. The MLBPA is a shining example of a union being passionate about it's membership and their wellbeing and the wellbeing of memebers not yet protected (future memebers).
  6. Or, is it a possibility that none of the female members of LMG really want to be in videos? That is a very distinct possibility and as such there may be little LMG can do until they gain female staff who want to do regular videos?
  7. The funniest part about the 'THEY SHOULD UNIONIZE' calls is... unions don't just happen overnight. It takes a long time for a union to fully form, be mandated, be legally recognized, and function. Like 18 month turnaround, unless they can join SAG or the writer's guild or something.
  8. Low-rent edgelord that screeches a lot and has a legion of fans who think he's some kind of whimsical god like Kefka.
  9. Emily for FOSS and projects. Tynan and Alex together for the insanity.
  10. I'm in sports communities that are like 1000x less toxic than LMG's most of the time.
  11. That's pretty standard for most Harassment or WPHC complaints. It's your manager's job to act on it and either deal with it, or go to HR on your behalf and start an HR-led review. If your manager is the issue, then you can go to another manager or HR directly. What LMG needs is a very comprehensive review of their standards across the board. HR, employment, payroll, etc.
  12. I was thinking this last night... I've been watching LTT for years. I have never once looked at their benchmarks as any quantifiable or quality review so that's likely why I don't care. Telling me how many frames a GPU I don't care about gets in a game I will never play never interested me. I was here for strange PC builds and quirky nonsense. If I wanted good tech data, I'd go anywhere else. This GN/LMG thing should be a good lesson to everyone. Verify all information you see on a YT video, regardless if it's LMG, GN, J2C, whoever. Start looking outside of YT for info. Or... do what we used to in the late 90s and just hope the hardware you bought is worth it...
  13. That's the worst thing LMG could do at this point. 3rd party is reviewing, let them work and do not poke at it publicly. Organizational changes regarding accuracy and integrity in data, sure they could do that. Do not comment on SA/WH accusations.
