  1. My valve seats are good I had those checked however I did have a cracked valve guide. If anything I'm going to lap the current valves and if it runs good and strong +1! if not ive located an acura rl engine which would also make a good thread as i engine swap the current 3.2 with a 3.5
  2. Not really putting any critical files on it just maybe Mechanic simulator because it takes fucking forever to load or even just garrys mod
  3. How would one go about stripping together 3 usb drives on a windows 10 machine? I have 3 spare 32 gb usb drives and a four port usb hub and I figure I can raid 0 them for storage.
  4. I planned on using valve lapping compound and lapping the valves myself, Sorry I havent been on in a while
  5. So far its been pretty quick going, Havent had time or money to work on it but its slowly coming apart! The cost right now has been $500 for the car, $120 for new valves and stem seals, around $200 for various gaskets and stuff, and $400 for specialty tools (I do get to keep the tools how ever)
  6. Here is just going to be a basic build log by me updated whenever I can get the chance. Currently building a 95 Acura Legend that blew a headgasket and snapped a timing belt so I picked it up for $100 Price Breakdown: $500 for the car $119.95 for valves and stem seals $104.95 for full gasket kit, Excluding the head gaskets as I want to buy fel-pro ones Update: Intake Manifold is out and it stripped apart being ready to have the carbon cleaned out of it EGR Pipe, Valves, and other assorted stuff is out and off the intake! Took it apart and found out I had 10 bent valves! So im going to be buying this instead of sourcing each individual valve http://www.ebay.com/itm/251334048086 Should work out don't see why not Head completely torn apart, just need to be resurfaced, and needs new valve stem seals Cams, Rocker arms, And lifters out and ready to be checked for even wear, straightness, and maybe even just being replaced. If you look at the Camshaft its suffering massive wear on the lobes. 7/1/2017 Sent the heads off to get resurfaced! They had about 3.5 thousands of warp but the max amount he could take off was 8 thou so I'm good! Said I should get them back Monday and then I plan on ordering the valves and then a full set of either OEM gaskets and seals or fel-pro gaskets 7/5/2017 Got the heads back monday but I failed to update this thread. Ordered some hood struts, new heater core valve, and a few connectors to repair my harness
  7. I've called a tow company and they said they can tow it for $100 bucks so I'm just going to do that instead
  8. I was wondering if I would need a drivers license to get pulled by someone? I want to buy a project car but dont have a license and in order for me to get the car back to my house I need to get pulled by a pickup truck using a rope. Any help would be great.
  9. So im having a bit of an issue. I want to retro fit a 2013-16 Rogue radio into a 95 Nissan Altima, Only problemo is that I cannot seem to find the pin-out of the Rogue radio. Does any here have access to the pin-outs or can locate the pin-outs? I've been searching on google for a few hours and cannot seem to find any sort of pin-out for it, Thanks!
  10. Does anyone here know the size of solder balls I would need to order for an IPhone 6 Plus NAND, CPU, Baseband CPU, Baseband Eprom IC? Or should I just use solder paste and hope for the best?
  11. Does anyone know the size of the solder balls i need in order to replace an IMEI chip on an IPhone 6? Any help would be great, Thank you!
  12. So it looks like the green wire is the ground, white and black and neutral and live, but are they connected INTO the phone line?? It seems that the metal casing could be a 30v transformer and the blue wires are for the phone jacks. Phone wiring is supposed to stay on even when the power shuts off but it appears he just connects the phone lines directly into the AC wiring with a DC transformer to step the 120 (or 240) down to 30v...Hmm... I think you need a new electrician
