I have heard that they can go pretty high in temps compared to the newer nvidia cards, i havnt been keeping up much to the new GPUs. Is AMD on par with nvidia? And what would both those cards compare to on the Nvidia side

I want to upgrade soon for my birthday I want to be able to run all the games i stated at 144+ fps , even if i have something like OBS open, and i dont mind setting all games to their lowest settings since its what i usually do anyway to get as much fps as possible. Which GPU should i upgrade to? I was thinking of a 2060 but i could also try to get a cheap 2nd hand 2070. Would 1080 be worth it?

Anything below 144fps starts to become hard to play, i notice the lack of frames, and i dont really get headaches from it

This is MW at all the lowest settings, and i sometimes set my resolution to 720p aswell

I use the new vulkan thing which helps improve performance and without it i usually get just around 144, game like MW become really unplayable since i cant do anything below 120ish since using 144hz.

I have a 144hz monitor, and my target is around 200 fps The games are rainbow 6, Modern warfare, Overwatch I play all of them at the lowest settings, i get up to 200 in rainbow but it dips to like 130-140 if i have obs running MW gets below 100 fps even on the lowest settings For overwatch ill get around 200ish and it can dip to 144, like in rainbow

I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a gtx 1060 6gb, according to that bottleneck calculator website im being bottlenecked pretty heavily by my gpu Is this true?

My Ryzen 5 3600 is running within the temps of 60-62 Celsius when im just casually using my PC. My CPU usage is at 20-30% when im not playing any games. The main programs i have open are chrome, discord, icue software, spotify, steam and some other stuff. I use the stock cooler that came with the CPU. Is my CPU overheating? Should i invest in better CPU cooler? Thanks in advance.
