  1. So I've just been researching water-cooling, and I am interested in the entire process. Although I won't be able to actually do anything for a few years, I like learning and dreaming. It's crossed my mind that I'd like to hypothetically plan out my runs, where the pump will go, and use different combinations of layouts, etc. However, drawing is too much effort for the hypothetical. I'd rather use a website like PC Part Picker to throw together hypotheticals. So my question is: Is there a website, application, or the like that will help plan out water-cooled builds? As in, picking a case, having those dimensions, dropping in a motherboard, blocks, pumps, and planning out tubing runs to really give you a guide into your future plans? I feel like this should definitely be a thing already in 2018. Am I just missing it?
  2. I did. I've used all of the 5 GPUs I own, and they all have the same stutter.
  3. I'll throw my 32 GB of Memory in and run it overnight. It only does like 4 passes overnight though. Would that be enough to find errors? The hell is that? I haven't had blue screens in awhile, but I will check that. I am going to try another SSD I have laying around.
  4. I have anti-virus. I'm going to test using a spare SSD with a fresh Windows install on it, but I have tried reinstalling Windows before to no avail. Sleep options? Already disabled. And I have disabled them in BIOS.
  5. Oh shoot thanks. I forgot to mention I ran memtest for 20 hours with 7 passes. No errors. I'll update that on the OP.
  6. Really just looking for an answer on what to do. Hopefully something here is a telltale error. Here is my system: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QBTmVY No overclock. Memory running at 2133 Mhz. SLI is/was disabled. I've switched out memory kits one at a time and the same with my graphics cards. I've owned this system for about 8 months and have had issues since the beginning, but after plenty of study, these are the errors that are repeating. I don't know if these are related, and they are not in any order. If I leave my computer on and idle for about 12 hours, the whole system will lock up and I can't do anything. The case power button doesn't work, so I have to flip the switch on the power supply. There are two noted errors that occur. My screens are off, all my ASUS Aura connected lights are frozen, and the White (VGA) ERROR LED on my ASUS STRIX X370-F Gaming MB. To rectify this, I have to take out both of my 970s, plug them in over and over until it gets past the LED eventually and boots. This last time, I couldn't get it to work, so I currently only have one card in, and it's my old 970 FTW+ at that (which is not listed). The The Orange (DRAM) LED is on, and everything is frozen. A flip of the power switch and that is usually fixed. When Chrome is open notably, my video will stutter, causing my whole system to stutter visually, but audio is never affected and always continues. The video will freeze for half a second then skip to where it should be. Frames usually drop to 1 for that brief moment. I've had a few system crashes recently and from the beginning of my system's life. I'll attach the known memory dumps below. Most of the issues from my research seem hardware related, pointing to memory or motherboard. I will note that all of these dumps (except the most recent one, my 3000 Mhz kit) happened with both kits of memory in. Attempted Solutions with problems still present: Swap out/run single video cards at a time instead of running my EVGA GTX 970 FTWs in SLI. I am using my FTW+ standalone currently. Switch between using both kits, just the 3200 Mhz, and just the 3000 Mhz kit. Updated NVIDIA drivers Ran Memtest for 20 hours with 7 passes. No errors. Have updated BIOS in the past with little success. I will note that most of the issues from 2017 have not resurfaced. I just want to know what I need to replace. Do I just need to throw out my Ryzen system or throw out all that expensive memory? Dumps (Updated).zip
  7. Did you test with Prime 95? And under full load that sounds a higher than it should be for that TDP, but not insane. Knock on wood, so far my Kraken X52 has kept my system under 61°C while gaming, and I think 64-65°C while stress testing, but it's been awhile.
  8. See but I need CAM to change colors on my AIO. As far as I know, CAM isn't causing problems either.
  9. Oh no I do need to update the chipset. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try that, but it don't think that's all the issues. If it is, thanks!
  10. And no, they both run at stock (2133 Mhz). As long as the CAS latencies are the same, they will work together fine. Says so in the manual.
  11. Okay. I've been having a plethora of issues, and I'm so fed up with all of them. If a solution here works, I'll gladly pay someone instead of buying new components for hundreds of dollars myself for testing. In short, I built my system back in September and since day 10 have had issues, mostly with BSODs. Most of them point to memory issues, but others also point to graphical driver issues. I've bested most of the original BSODs to my knowledge when I reinstalled Windows in December, but a few have arose since then, especially when gaming & surfing the web. I'm mostly worried about my memory issues, as they seem to be more prevalent than anything else, so that can take priority focus. I'm just going to puke everything I've collected data-wise about the errors, including BSOD error names, dump files, plenty of pictures, and so on. Someone agree with me: Alright now; to the troublesome items: Recorded Blue Screens Errors: Strange Display Error (Prior to Windows Reinstall): (Attached as 11.17.17 Display Driver Errors.zip) Came home to a really fuzzy and low resolution screen. Freaked me out at first. Looks like a driver update failed, but hell if I know. Strange Display Error (After Windows Reinstall): Noticed along with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD that just before it crashed, Nvidia Container started to put 100% load on all my cores. *Worth mentioning that before every crash, (which is why I think it is memory related) one of the following programs dies: CAM (Most frequent) Google Chrome (Aww Snap Memory-Related Error) Wallpaper Engine Suspected RAM Issues: (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1JVy64V9-if4-PDiFztq8wHiA-SzOqVjH) Used Thaiphoon to pull SPD information. CRC Errors on every stick. The first 3000 Mhz stick has two different errors, on occasion only 1 or 2 sticks can be read by Thaiphoon, sometimes pulled SPD Read information is completely wrong or all unknown. Memory Dumps from above BSODs, but I have no idea how to read them (More recent than Old Dump Files below) *I'm aware that Ryzen and Intel Trident Z RGB RAM don't play nicely together, and additionally, neither does Asus Aura, which I use quite frequently. That's why I assume there are memory issues, however I can't confirm that my SPDs are corrupted because there are reads on Thaiphoon that have correct SPD info.* Post on Microsoft Forms: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/bsod-every-week-whats-wrong/7006101f-593e-46ec-a7e5-057afa3f7d46 Old Dump Files (Prior to Windows Reinstall): https://drive.google.com/open?id=11CV7WKIv0xCa1Q09bV8VyNPfRoVyiw74 Again, if someone can give me a successful solution and I see it work, I'll happily pay. Just message for any further questions. 11.17.17 Display Driver Errors.zip
  12. Currently I'd be looking for 2 TB drives for long term storage. So, 2 2 TB drives would have to be included in the budget.
