  1. When a host uses the LTT screwdriver *lttstore.com* on camera, could we get a pop up on screen that says what bit is being used, and what bit set it is included in? I think this would not only promote how much use one could get out of the screwdriver, but it would also make things easier for someone who may be following along with the video at home.
  2. I just had another restart and checked the Windows Event Log. I took a screenshot of what I think was the critical error.
  3. I have taken a few steps since writing this post, and have still not figured out the problem. From my bios, I ran some hardware tests and the RAM and SSD/HDD tests all came back clean. I also rolled back to before I installed a recent windows update, but I am still experiencing random restarts. I am attaching a picture of my screen after a crash. Please let me know what else I can do. I have not gotten Memtest to work yet, as my Bios isn’t recognizing my USB as a boot device.
  4. Thanks for the tips! I am aware of the fact that W10 isn’t the best OS for servers, but I decided to continue using it because I don’t need features like RAID or anything like that, I’m really just running Plex. As for the updates, I’ve disabled all auto-updating such that I would have to go into the update menu in order to get an update. I am definitely willing to look into a different OS if that is causing the problems, but I don’t really want to fix something that isn’t broken at the moment. In the future though, I would love to learn and get comfortable with a Linux-based OS. As for the PSU, it is proprietary and not really designed to be upgraded, but it should not have problems running the PC, as the only additions I have made to the PC are the two additional HDDs. I could be wrong about this though. I am working on a Memtest on a USB stick now, and will update the thread when I get the results. If anyone else has any other suggestions, please let me know!
  5. To start this off, I am a noob when it comes to Windows, and this is the fist non-laptop PC I have ever had. I recently bought a used PC to use as a basic server for my home network. I don't have anything crazy setup on it, I just use it for Plex and some data storage. I control it exclusively using TeamViewer's free license, as I cannot easily connect a monitor and peripherals to it. For the first 48 hours, everything worked absolutely perfectly. The computer stayed on 24/7 (I have disabled all of the sleep settings and automatic updates), and I had no problems with Plex. Starting yesterday, the system began randomly restarting throughout the day. I can tell when it has restarted because I log into TeamViewer and it is on the lock screen, and PIA is no longer connected. My best guess is it happened a few times before I logged into TeamViewer and noticed it. I spent an hour or two testing it to see what made it restart, and I found out that I cannot really isolate the issue. Sometimes when I was streaming media from Plex, it would randomly restart, but sometimes it wouldn't. This morning, I accessed the computer via TeamViewer, and was looking for a file, no Plex streaming going on, when it restarted again. At this point, I've gotten pretty frustrated because I am sure there is a simple solution, but I am not experienced enough with Windows to see it. I have looked all over the internet trying to find a solution, but can't narrow it down at all. Can anyone provide some insight into this problem? If not, are there any applicable tools available to run on the PC to try to diagnose the issue? If you need anymore information, I can provide it. Thanks in advance! Specs: HP EliteDesk 800 G2 TWR OS - Windows 10 Pro (Version 20H2) (64 bit) CPU - i7-6700 @ 3.40GHz RAM - 2x8GB DDR4-2400 Boot Drive - 120GB SSD Other Drives - 2x 2TB Seagate BarraCuda Drives running as a Windows Storage Space 2-Way Mirror PSU - Stock PSU, base off of internet searches, I think it is 280W
  6. Gotcha, will update! I did test it on their newest video on the podcast's YouTube so it must be a YT problem.
  7. When clicking on some links in the description of some of LMG's videos, I noticed that some are broken. I decided to poke around all seven LMG channels and find all the broken ones. I don't know if anyone cares about these issues, but I wanted to compile a list on the off chance that someone working at LMG sees it so they can make any fixes necessary. Below are the different broken links I have found on the various LMG channels. 8. Pretty off-topic but, BF1 They Shall Not Pass DLC is awesome. The graphics, operations, and just feel of the game is really great.
  9. This is actually a lot harder then I thought it would be. Everyone is just so funny and upbeat at LTT.
  10. Anyone want to play Battlefield One? I want to get a whole squad together with a few people who are willing to play their class on They Shall Not Pass. I am on Xbox One! Thanks!
  11. I have seen that Stanford sold some of their 16 million IPv4 addresses, what exactly does IPv4 mean and how do they own the IPs? What does it let them do? I have also heard that Apple owns a ton of IPs. Sorry I'm a noob. Thanks!
  12. MKV is extremely easy to use, it is just a few clicks and your DVD is getting ripped. HandBrake is a one click too, it has a bunch of settings but you don't need to mess with them, only mess with the output file format.
  13. I am "good" with computers, I am pretty good with computer science stuff. But I am not very good with web stuff, haven't really had a chance to learn a whole lot about this.
  14. I have seen a ton of forum users with the tag "Floatplane Pilot". I know what Floatplane is I watched the videos, but what do these guys do as "Pilots"? Thanks!
  15. What do you use it for on the back of your monitor?
