  1. my gpu does not suport nvenc, doubt it other people stream with even the ryzen 5 just fine and even linus has made a video with this very cpu and streaming with x264 with smooth 60fps not to mention cpu is only at 30% usage
  2. I recently bought a ryzen 2700x and i tried streaming with it everything works fine temps are good 50/60c but streaming with OBS x264 veryfast preset at 3500kbs 1080p 30 fps the final product of the stream is crap and a slide show also obs gives me a "encoding cant keep up" and runs the stream at 10fps even though cpu usage is at 30% max, tried various games and setting even the ones used by linus on stream encoding intel vs amd video and nothing, also internen is 500mbs down 200mbs up so its not the issue
  3. my old 7200rpm hdd aparently now can do 1Gbs
  4. I bought a low budget 128 GB ssd for a low budget pc i already had, it worked fine until one day it started crashing randomly, it froze and if i was fast enough to reconnect the power cable the system would resume just fine this went on for months and it happened 2/3 times a day depending on how long the PC was turned on but it happened everyday with out fail, a couple weeks ago i installed an older version of intel graphics for my g4400 as i wanted a older version because the newer ones available for my cpu said my cpu wasnt suported for some reason and some new but not as new ones didnt work with what i wanted which was OBS enconding with QSV as i wanted how far i could push this chip(btw it streams most games at 1080p 50 fps at 6000mbps with no fps drops) and after installing for an old suported driver i found one installed and the SSD problem for some reason disappeared, i didnt post this on the help sub section as is not help to solve the problem that i need but rather would like some opinions on how a Igpu driver could fix a problem with a drive.
  5. my 570 is sufficent for what i play, so the gtx 760 would be nice but im mostly getting it for the NVENC and acompaning it with an i5 for my board and stream with nvenc or waiting for zen 2 and just buy the 100 dollar ryzen part and use it to stream with no NVENC
  6. my gtx 570 does fine at 1080p i doubt a enw GPU (that i want to get only for NVENC tbh) will disapoint me especially having to give up at least 2 Gb of ram
  7. how? my current gpu the gtx 570 beats all available current ryzen igpus i doubt the new ones will out perform the 760, no to mention the dedicated Vram and not buying a new mobo adds to the value of the used option
  8. alright so i have this build h110 pro vh pentium g4400 gtx 570 8gb ram and my question is with a budget of 200 euros should i (of course buyinng used) upgrade my GPU for a gtx 760 and an i5 6600 which together cost around 160 euros used or wait for zen 2 and buy the 100 dollar ryzen and new mb for about the same, also im using the pc for streaming, so i would like to know if the gtx 760 NVENC and the 6600 will be a better combo than the zen 2 part
  9. My GPU a gtx 570 has started this bizarre effect that it goes to its p8 state (405MHz) after some time of the pc being on, and it mainly happens after some certain programs like chrome are closed, i also noticed that the gpu which used to be at idle at 50MHz, now it starts always at 732MHz and only goes down when it randomly goes to 405 and then only a restart will solve it even if i start a 3d application, i have tested the usual suspects, power modes in windows and nvidia control panel, temps, reinstalled drivers (the problem started when i reinstalled a driver to include geforce experience bust since its fermi its the exact same driver version), even downloaded nvidia inspector to find what reason the gpu was reporting for the low clock and it said it was because the gpu was idle even if in a 3d application with it at 100%.
  10. i was thinking of either 4gb of ram and a cheap ssd or a i5 7400
  11. thats something i have in mind but as a secondary upgrade for example if i buy a 4 gb ram stick i will probably buy a 30€ ssd as well
  12. the gpu on my rig isnt a bottleneck at least in most games i am usually cpu or ram limited
  13. So in 2016 i built a PC with the following specs: h110m pro vh g4400 gtx 570 4gb ddr4 1tb hdd 700w power supply (so power is not an issue) what would be the best upgrade for such a pc at up to 150€?
  14. It's was in did one of the brackets that was stuck I manage to break it free by bending the side thanks for the tiprip
