  1. I had to make this choice recently, i picked up a Ryzen 7 2700X instead of a Ryzen 5 3600, because the 2700X was cheaper in my area and in stock, unlike the 3rd and 4th Gen Ryzen CPUs. My Recommendation is get whatever is cheaper and in stock in your area.
  2. This is the same rig as i'm about to be running, (Upgrading from a Sandy Bridge Xeon CPU and DDR3). The GTX 1660 will most likely handle itself fine, though it could potentially be a small bottleneck, If the 3060 Ti is proved to actually exist, I'd say that would be the best upgrade path... if you are willing to wait quite a long time for the 3000 Series GPUs to start being reasonably priced.
  3. you are trying to play new games on a potato? i mean a potato is a understatement, more like a tatertot thats been under the fridge since 1953. other than that. you could probably run Half-Life. or Half-Life 2. there oldies but goldies.
