  1. You can use the laptop and wait for the parts and then build it. But and rx 5y0 can do decent amount of performance, I haven’t used cad on my main rig or adobe photoshop. I would try and get one with a slightly better cpu in it.
  2. Did you check both ends? Did you check on another drive to make sure the cable isn’t bad? Did you get the wrong cables for the power supply? Does the ssd show up in the bios?
  3. Which Ryzen 5? The fx 6300 isn’t the best nowadays and check to see if you can get a bracket from Coolermaster for am4. Dual monitor puts a little more stress on the pc but it’s barely noticeable.
  4. It might be because windows doesn’t recognize the storage type. Did you check disk management? Sometimes a hard drive won’t show up in windows because it’s not initialized for windows.
  5. I don’t know Mac that well, but I don’t think that is possible. It isn’t possible in Windows or it’s slow, and it would be limited to either the USB 2.0 speeds or 3.0 speeds.
  6. 230 is pretty low or it’s common price nowadays, check what model and what it was used for. And is it a 4gb of 8gb? What games do you play?
  7. Think you only need to solder and check if there’s any RGB LEDs on the replacement switch.
  8. I would go with you guys if you made cables for this but I havent been able to find the correct pinouts for this yet.
  9. I did check them out, I might end up scraping this psu and getting a good one.
  10. That was a waste of time. I couldnt find anything on them.
  11. Im trying to find cable for this psu (Parts Number SP-850ah3ccb), I've only have had luck finding the kits on Thermaltakes horrible website but I cant buy them from there. I found them on amazon.ca but they are out of stock for the foreseeable future. So Im either trying to find a male to male sleeved extension kit or find the pin out for this power supply. Im really wanting to find out if I can use this psu or not because I dont have the modular cables. The kit (thermaltake's website): http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002756 The Extensions (thermaltake's website): http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002993 The kit (amazon.ca): https://www.amazon.ca/Thermaltake-AC-032-CN5NAN-PB-Individually-Sleeved-Cable/dp/B01I2UC6BK The extensions (amazon.ca): https://www.amazon.ca/Thermaltake-Sleeve-Extension-Supply-AC-048-CN1NAN-A1/dp/B071LB1F99/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1532395363&sr=1-1&keywords=thermaltake+cable
  12. Ok, I could make my own case and it have a vertical slots, and I would have it support more rads
  13. Im going to be water cooling the entire system though, and Im willing to make a custom case if I need to
  14. Im wanting performance and looks too, size matters a little bit but not too much, but Im wanting Matx
  15. I dont want mitx form factor, Im wanting a cube case because they just appeal to me, and what happens if the AM4 board I choose doesnt have a mono block?
  16. Im looking for a new case, but it is going to be a while before I get it, Im wanting it to be a micro ATX case, that is a cube with a vertical gpu mount almost like the Thermaltake V21, but with a vertical gpu mount, I also want it to have room for radiators, I havent found a case yet but Im looking for one because I want to go Matx for size restrictions on my new desk I'll be building, I will have an ATX case but it'll be more of a work station compared to a gaming rig . When my brother moves out his room will turn into a studio for me so I can do more videos, so what cases you guys know of that are Matx, has a vertical gpu mount, with room for expansion cards too, with room for a GPU and CPU loop, (1900x and Vega 56) and is shaped like a cube. tl:dr Cube Matx case with vertical GPU mount, full loop support,
  17. Ok, I was making sure I wasnt getting a mobo that can support my cooler
  18. Clips, almost like the stock ones, I have only gotten my coolers from China
  19. Im hopefully getting a Gigabyte X99 UD4, but my cooler uses clips and doesnt have mounting hardware for LGA 2011-v3 only LGA 1366 and LGA 115X, so whats the size of threaded rod I need to get?
  20. I am, it's horrible, feels like melting rubber
