    This is a good suggestion. A 4790k is withing a small percentage of the performance of the 6700k/7700k, and you wouldnt need to get a new motherboard either. This way you could just get an additional 8gb stick and be set. (You might also want a half way decent air cooler like a Cryorig h7, its only $35 USD. You didnt list one so I'm assuming youre using the stock intel heat sink)
     
    If all you're looking for is BF1 at med settings at average 60fps, a 1060 will be more than plenty. Though, a 1080 will allow you to max the settings entirely and be more future proof, in addition to potentially going up in resolution if you so desired.
