  1. I can try to find a second hand RTX 2070 or 2080 maybe, because new GPUs are very expensive else I will settle for the 12400f + RX 7600 as an overall budget system.
  2. Programming depends upon my hobby projects. I have a laptop issued by my company so, only some hobby projects If I get time. I mainly looked at Valorant FPS because I usually play that with my friends over the weekend, both of them gives 200+ fps which is better than the 40 I am getting on my old laptop.
  3. Yes, but there is little difference in FPS of the game I play between R5-3600 and 12400f with RX 7600. So, I am currently very much liking the R5 3600 with RX 7600 combo. The savings can even go towards a better display (which I am planning to get later on).
  4. Budget (including currency): 800 euro Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: E-sports (rarely AAA games) and Programming Currently I have 3 combos in mind: R5-3600 + B450M-K II (~140 euro) i5-12400f + H610M-K (~ 210 euro) R5-5600x + B550M (~ 230 euro) For GPU I am thinking about either: RX 6600 (~220 euro) RX 7600 (~270 euro) RTX 3060 (~300 euro) Should I spend more on CPU/Mobo or on the GPU?
  5. Dell XPSes are not easily available where I live. Mostly HP. But thanks, will keep this in mind.
  6. Hy folks, I am looking to replace my previous laptop with a newer one. I have budget of around 1100 - 1300 USD. Most of my time with the laptop will be spent for development on-the-go. I have a PC at home but I need something that can get the work done, if I am not near my computer. I don't need top-level specs but a good battery will be a huge plus. I am currently think of M2 Macbook Air with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. The similarly priced Windows machine available to buy in my region is HP Spectre x360 14 with 12th gen i7. I don't have any operating system preference as most of my IDEs and tools are available on both OSes. So, guys I will needs your suggestion for which one to go for. If any of you have any experience with the above said machines, please do tell me about it. If you have any other laptop in-mind, feel free to suggest that too.
  7. After the previous major update (Lotus one), Valorant started crashing my laptop. It happens mostly on menus, especially just after a match has ended. What happens is that everything hangs. No input gives any response. Laptop doesn't shutdown itself. I have to long-press the power button to force it to shutdown and turn it back it. Event Viewer has no log of it whatsoever. I tried doing a fresh install of Windows of both 10 and 11, but no gives. No other game (which I tested; Forza Horizon 4, 5; Assassin's Creed Origins, Doom Eternal) have this issue. Is there any problem with my laptop or that of the game specifically. Laptop: HP Pavilion 15-dk0096wm
  8. Hy, I already have a PC at home which I use to code and game. Now, I want a light-weight 360 laptop which I can take to my bed or couch. My basic requirement from it will Touch screen Good display Low temps Good trackpad My use cases will be Browsing Media consumption, netflix, youtube, etc... Some coding but it will be extremely rare in-case I am not near my primary PC I have following in mind along with price in my region Envy 360 AR0115, R7 3700U, 16GB, 512GB, 800 USD Envy 13m BD0023dx, i7 11th gen, 08GB, 512GB, 1000 USD Spectre x360 13" AW0155tu, i5 10th gen, 08GB + 32GB (optane), 512GB, 1000USD If I leave the coding requirement out of the window, I can easily get an iPad for 400USD. What will be your suggestion? Should I Go for Windows 360 Go for iPad Go for used touch screen laptop with Linux distribution (don't have any price tags for now) I am tight on my budget, 700 USD, can stretch for Envy (AMD) and have to wait for Envy (Intel) and Spectre.
  9. Hy everyone. I have almost 800$ and I want to select a new laptop. Most of time it is for software so, I want good keyboard and display, but I also want to play some games (usually AAA titles). After searching, I selected few of them. MSI GF63 Thin Lenovo Ideapad L340 (This is by far on top, but it has only one RAM slot) ASUS TUF Gaming Dell XPS 13 (2nd choice but no decent GPU). After watching their review, I have to make a compromise, getting better build quality or getting a decent GPU because both are usually not available at this range. I cannot get a Desktop currently because of my university. Can you guys recommend any other laptop or solution? Thanks in advance.
  10. No, using it without NVMe and GPU still not appearing. No other issues arising in it.
  11. HP Omen 15-ax250wm I have posted before that my GPU disappeared after blowing some air from laptop vent. Today my NVMe disappeared too. It just won't show up anymore. I can't think up of any solution. Should I take it that my Laptop is broken? If so, what should be the next one to look up? I only have up to 500$.
  12. Blinks are short and comes in 3. 3 short blinks and a pause. This continues 4 or 5 times before laptop turns on
  13. I have Omen 15 ax250wm. Stock settings. Recently, I had stuttering noise coming from my Laptop fans, so I blew some air in, from hair dryer, from the back of my laptop. After this my dedicated GPU stopped showing up at all and CapsLock light blinks(about 15 to 20 times) during POST. I tried updating BIOS but nothing helped. Any help about the exace issue would be great. Thanks.
  14. I have Omen 15-ax250wm, and I am planning on buying NVMe SSD 500gb(2x lane) rather than Evo 970 or any SATA. I have to buy a HDD too, so no SATA option for me.
  15. I am going to buy a new SSD in a week or so, I cannot decide should I go with M.2 SATA or NVMe device? My mostly usage will be Programming and light gaming now and then. I am currently thinking of ADATA XPG 8200 500GB, in this price I can also get EVO 970 but of 250GB. Can any one suggest me a good SSD?
