Fans are a salvageable part, you could easily replace it with something like an AIO cooler if you can't find a replacement. The first thing to go that is considered a death sentence is the pcb. Traces that don't connect anymore due to a multitude of reasons. Either by drying out, breaking, lifted of the board as the substrate expand and shrinks. Transistors, resistors etc. usually hold out a bit longer.
 
So i'd say keep it cool. However your premise is flawed. Brands like EVGA offer a 5-year warranty. Which is a bit of a wax nose. Your card will be ancient when it finally reaches that 5 year mark, earlier than it may degrade under normal circumstances. Whatever maintenance you chose now will have virtually no effect. If it doesn't die before it gets time to degrade you might have stretched it's lifespan to let's say 7 years. Technology goes fast, it's not something you salvage. You 'consume' it, for it's not worth preserving. Even though it might be logical for you to think that way. Since apparently you care very much about it,  probably because it cost a lot of money. Regardless, whatever you do now is ultimately negligible. 
 
Except when you turn off the fans all together. That's just *snip* unwise.

This is my first time posting here so I hope that I have put this in the right section.
 
My GTX 560 ti was starting to annoy me because when I started playing any modern game my GPU's temps would go upto 85~90°C and the fans sounded like they were trying to become a vacuum cleaner...
 
I had a H100i cooling my CPU so one day I thought about trying to put my H100i on my GPU, after not really finding much on google about doing what I had in mind I decided to just go for it and see what happens.
 
After a few hours of working out how to and fitting the CPU block onto the GPU I was able to mount the block onto the GPU.

I was wanting to put the rad at the bottom of my case but my PSU was about 1cm to long and the pipes were to short to reach the front of my case
 
As for the temps my GPU now idles around 27°C were it used to idle at 40°C, when gaming it now sits around 45~50°C, even after upping the Core clock from the stock 823MHz to 950MHz the temps are still sitting around at 45~50°C. I am thinking of pushing my GPU a bit more but I am not sure how far I can push it :unsure:
 
I have not done anything to the memory clock yet because I am not sure how well it will like it with only being cooled by air flowing over it, in the future I might try and put some heat sinks on the memory with a fan blowing down on it.
 
And yes, my cable management sucks...

I have no sympathy for her. She donated money she could have used to pay off the IRS, and used it to support a cause that many find offensive and rude.

On a side note, I've never understood the whole GamerGate thing. I get that women are harassed online, but so are guys. I also think that they are over-sexualized in games- but apparently, burly guys with biceps the size of a large tree trunk are fine.

Until the majority of people learn to speak with their wallets and not give these companies money for unfinished garbage we will continue to see unfinished garbage.  Simple as that.  As for Xbox One I am still waiting on a hardware revision which I never expect to come.  WTB 1080p / 60 FPS for every single game.

REALLY wish developers would stop rushing unfinished games out the door in a desperate money grab. I would rather wait for a polished gem, then spend money on a pile of steaming shit, with the hope it will be fixed in the near future.

No, how about this though: We stop making fucking excuses for anybody. If Projek Red or the guys on Star Citizens can pull things off, what fucking excuse do major studios have? The answer here should be none.

I'm holding out on a PC release.

I got them for both typing and gaming. I wanted balance and remember linus mention on one of his vids he favored browns for that reason. I like how the feel typing. Im a newbie when it comes to mouse and key gaming and just changed my setup so hopefully soon I will start playing with this keyboard for bf4. (Yes I play bf4 on a controller eewww I know lol) 

Just got my corsair k70 RGB and they are brown switches. Survey said I need blue switches. Screw the blue switches.

Simple. 970. Newer tech. Less heat. More power.

Its an nvidia GPU. It doesnt need liquid cooling to stay under 80C. Also its very difficult to make room in a SFF build for an additional 120mm and fan.
 
Digitalstorm made a SFF MITX build with a titan z, and there was no way a 295x2 would have fit.
