  1. Their next challenge series event has just started, if anyone wants to concentrate on those tasks (321-LLR) for the next few days. https://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=10261 These are cpu only tasks, and take a little while. Good idea to put multiple threads per task and only use 50% cpu utilization if you have hyperthreading/smt.
  2. I think they released a big batch of gpu work units that seem to be gone now. I had a bunch on 3 pc's, but non right now, so points will probably will go down until they release another batch.
  3. Dang it, I swore I signed up during the Boinc pent, must've gotten things mixed up with everything going on then. I might not cook myself then with our 90F weather right now, but I guess i'll keep track to see about were I would've ended up with EOC stats then. Probably 3rd or lower, since I'd rather not cook myself.
  4. I've noticed Einstein is far stinger with nvidia cards than amd. I'll hit the 1,000 task limit with an newly setup amd card within a 2 hours if that, while nvidia card won't near that limit after a day, even if the nvidia card is faster. It made trying to bunker nvidia cards a pain, and had to let a lot of tasks submit before getting enough tasks for a half decent bunker.
  5. Yep, just keep going and let the pending climb. Some of us have thousands pending at this point. Some people will drop large bunkers of completed tasks and clear out some pending, but others won't clear out until after the event.
  6. I usually run the Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs (FGRPB1G), how does time and points compare to Meerkat?
  7. You could run 2 seperate instances and assign a different preference profile to each. I don't know if you loose that much running 1 on the 6800, still better than not running it.
  8. I tend to run 1 task on nvidia and 2 on amd. I haven't tried on a 360ti specifically, but 3090 does slightly better with 1 same with 4090.
  9. probaly better off switching that with cpu on numbers and gpu on einstein. Numbers runs well on both, but einstein is way better on gpu.
  10. FYI: For those who plan to run Einstein on their gpu's, I would get some tasks downloaded in advance of it starting, as their servers tend to struggle. That way your gpu's won't be sitting idle while waiting for the server to catch up. Probably hold of on releasing bunkers right away too, just to spread out the server load.
  11. I would do Einstein with gpus, and bunker until it starts in about 12 hrs. Since it is double check and they don't give a ton of tasks until you return a number of results, you could just let run, and you shouldn't miss out on too many points not bunkering.
  12. LINUSTECHTIPS_TEAM is what shows for me.
  13. I would put cpu's on numberfields, as modern ones are pretty comparable to gpu's.
  14. That would've been me. Dropped some small ones earlier, but that cleared out my backlog. As my queue's get depleted I may have to double check and make sure I didn't overlook any.
  15. Did you see Seti.Germany's update on obstacle, WOW!
