  1. Actually I meant this one : https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16820232229 Sorry, forgot to post link. Which one do you think would work best? They both cost about the same so it doesn't matter much to me.

  3. what about when it says something like "Chipset : Intel Z170 Platform" does that limit me since I'm using an amd board?

  9. Will I still be able to overclock with this or will I need an x370?
  10. Hey guys! this is my first ever pc build and I have spent a lot of time trying to get it right and also saving for parts. I have pretty much everything I need except for a MOBO, I'm looking for one that will allow me to fully utilize my components and I'm especially worried about RAM compatibility because it's a ryzen build. Here are my parts so far: CPU: Ryzen 1800x Graphics: Geforce GTX 1080ti Founders Edition RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW HDD: Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM006 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive SSD: SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E250B/AM Monitor: LG 29" Ultrawide Full HD IPS LED Monitor 29UM58-P I'm going to buy a case and PSU once I know how much space all the components will take up and how much current it will draw. I gladly welcome all constructive criticism, nonconstructive criticism, ideas, comments or anything else you'd like to say with an open mind and an open heart. I will not listen to your dreams though, please don't tell everybody what your brain does to you while you're asleep. Thank you guys so much! P.S. I'm also looking for a good keyboard for competitive gaming and was considering the fast-response laser keyboard Luke recently covered in a video. Any suggestions are welcome here as well. Thanks again!
  11. What will I need to change about my parts list if I want to overclock?
  12. I don't know how to overclock so that's going to be later in the future. Is it really worth it to overclock? And how difficult is it to overclock without breaking something?
  13. I'm working on my very first PC build ever and I want to use it for gaming, recording and streaming with my brother. I was going to use an i7-6700k but I changed it everyone keeps telling me to use a Ryzen. Is the Ryzen really better for recording/streaming and gaming? Here is my parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/skwftJ Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you so much!
