Try this it worked for me had no idea it was a setting in here. - NVIDIA control panel -3D settings - Manage 3D settings - under global settings there is a power management mode set it to prefer maximum performance.....

No luck anyone have any other ideas. i found that if the video is playing before i launch a game and if i dont tab out of the game or start a new video it works fine.

think it would work if i started up a VM and ran youtube on that instead? Can i keep the vm from using the graphics card?

is there any solution? i have another 144hz monitor in the mail will this problem get worse? ?

gsync would make it so my game is choppy? but only with youtube open?

I have 32 gigs of ram i dont think thats the issue and i dont tab out its running on another monitor

League and csgo 32 gigs of ram and an i7 6700k

chrome and i have disabled hardware acceleration with a tiny improvement but i feel like my pc should be able to handle this without a problem.

Can someone help me figure out why in games my fps is so much lower when i have youtube open on a second monitor? I can run games fine at over 140 frames without youtube open but when i start watching a video it stays at around 100-130.

i would pay someone 100 to fix this its getting really annoying
